Spring brought warmer days, fresh beginnings, and a little bit of green magic to our children’s play space.
Thanks to a shared vision and some wonderfully generous partners, our play area has had a serious glow-up!
A HUGE thank you to Warren Horsley and the amazing team at South Africa for donating and installing the artificial turf and transforming this space into somewhere our children can run, play, explore, and, most importantly, let their imaginations run wild!
We absolutely love partners who don’t just give, but get stuck in, bring their expertise, time, and talents to the table, and help turn ideas into something our children can actually enjoy.
A new season. A fresh space. Softer landings, happier feet, and BIG imaginations!

We’ve had another beautiful adoption and welcomed two more precious babies into our iThemba Lethu family. Needless to say, we now have lots of little ones keeping our amazing carers very busy!
Our babies are being loved, cuddled, cared for and kept very busy by our wonderful carers while we work towards finding each one their forever family.
But with more little ones comes more need for helping hands! If you’d like to come through, spend some time with us, help out, or find out how you can get involved, we’d love to hear from you!

Our high school beneficiaries had an exciting opportunity to visit Garden Court and get a glimpse of what really happens behind the scenes! From hospitality to teamwork and everything in between, our learners got to explore different career paths and see the world of work in action.

Our Grade 10s got a taste of what it means to turn an idea into something real during an Entrepreneurial Training Session, facilitated by the
As part of our Financial Literacy Programme, our learners were equipped with practical skills to help them understand money, business and what it takes to make an idea work.
And we didn’t stop at the training!
30 beneficiaries received their very own start-up business boxes, packed with body lotions, soaps and body sprays. Now it’s time to put those new skills into action, get selling and start learning what it takes to run a little business of their own!
From classroom learning to real-world experience, we’re excited to see where these young entrepreneurs take it!

In just a few days, the atmosphere in our home can change so quickly. One baby girl arrives as another prepares to leave. Within days, we are saying both “welcome” and “goodbye.”
There is joy in every new arrival and emotion in every goodbye, but through it all, we trust that God is holding each little life in His hands.

Today is a beautiful reminder of the many cultures, traditions, languages, stories, and backgrounds that make South Africa so wonderfully diverse. It’s a day to celebrate where we come from, what makes our families unique, and the rich heritage we each carry.

Wow, time really does fly! Last month, three of our little ones left to join their forever families. Everything happened so quickly that we didn’t even manage to snap any photos, but some of the most beautiful moments happen before the camera can come out. Three precious goodbyes and three very exciting new beginnings!
