A proud moment worth celebrating.

Following her feature in KZN Conservancies' Autumn newsletter (page 12) - https://kznconservancies.org.za/kzn-conservancies-newsletter-autumn-2026/,- Dr Denise Ingrid Adams has now been awarded her PhD, marking a remarkable academic achievement shaped by decades of close engagement with Durbanโ€™s natural environment.

Her research, centred on the uMngeni Beachwood Mangrove Nature Reserve, highlights the ecological importance and evolving condition of this vital estuary system through a creative, practice-led approach.
