Second Chance Sanctuary

26/09/2026

It’s that difficult (and embarrassing) time again when I have to reach out and ask for any assistance you may be able to offer.

We’ve had some unexpected veterinary expenses recently, including the heartbreaking costs of euthanasia, and unfortunately, these unforeseen expenses have put a strain on the funds we rely on to purchase food for the cats at Second Chance.

If you are able to help in any way, no matter how big or small, it would mean so much to us and to all the cats in our care.

We also gladly accept Checkers and Pick n Pay grocery deliveries as food donations. If you would like to send a delivery, please WhatsApp us first on 084 646 1909 so we can provide the correct address and arrange a suitable time for delivery.

And, as always, our doors are open to visitors! If you would like to come and see the cats and what we do, please just make an appointment with us beforehand.

Every bit of support makes a difference, and we are incredibly grateful for your kindness, generosity and continued support.

Kind regards,
Cherece
