We would like you to know that not only will your donation directly benefit the animals in our area but - through a sharing agreement between all SPCA's nationwide - a portion will be used in other, less fortunate areas to benefit animals over a wider area. Good day SPCA Amanzimtoti Supporters,

We will, weather permitting, be having our month end clinic on Friday the 28th August 2026 between 9:30am - 11:30am. The clinic cost is R250 per animal and this includes:

- Puppies/dogs: 5 in 1, rabies and dewormer
- Kittens/Cats: 4 in 1, rabies and dewormer

Puppies/dogs must be brought in on leashes. Puppies/dogs are vaccinated outside. Kittens/cats must be brought in baskets/cat carriers/pillow case. Kittens/cats will be vaccinated inside at reception.

Please keep the following in mind:

- No children allowed.

WHY ADOPT?🤷‍♂️

When you buy, or get a puppy/kitten for free:
🤒 You have no guarantee of the health of that pet.
😟 You don't know the temperament of the pet.
💵 You have to pay private vet's prices for vaccinations and sterilisation (+/- R2500).
😢 You are supporting and encouraging backyard breeders to keep breeding, which is the reason why animals shelters are overflowing, and the reason why so many have to be put to sleep.

When you adopt a dog/cat/puppy/kitten from the Toti SPCA:
👩‍⚕️ You are guaranteed that the pet is vet checked and healthy.
🐕 You are welcome to visit the SPCA as many times as you like to get to know all the pets before picking the one who is best suited for your family and lifestyle.
👍 The adoption fee of R1140 for dogs, and R940 for cats, pays for them to be vaccinated, sterilised and microchipped before going home.
💗 You will be saving a precious life.

All pets are assessed in terms of their temperament before being placed up for adoption, and the adoption process is very quick and easy. 🐾

The adoption statistics at animal shelters like SPCAs are devastating. 😥 Thousands upon thousands of pets are brought in to shelters every month in KZN alone. Yet people still continue to allow their pets to breed, and choose to buy puppies and kittens rather than adopt. Please choose to be part of the solution:
- Spay/neuter your pets
- Choose to adopt 🐶🐈
