Seven Clubs Ready for Hlanganani Community League 2026/27
As the Hlanganani Community League celebrates its third anniversary, seven clubs are preparing to compete in another exciting season of community football.
Danger Boys FC return for their third consecutive season as one of the league's resident clubs. Known for entertaining football and dangerous wingers, they remain one of the teams to beat.
Strait of Hormuz FC, also entering their third season, have built a reputation for one-touch football, exciting young talent, and impressive ball movement. Their attractive style of play continues to win admirers.
Amajita FC return for their second year after a remarkable transformation. Following a difficult debut season in 2024, they improved dramatically and went on to finish as runners-up in one of their divisions during the 2026 campaign.
Golden Dragon FC: are the league's newest project, formed through a collaboration between Golden Boys and Dragon United. While Dragon United have previous league experience, the newly formed Golden Dragon will officially enter as debutants.
Mission Boys FC: are also set for their first appearance. Although the club is new, many of their players are familiar faces within the Hlanganani football community.
Melchester United FC: arrive as a newly established club built on discipline and structure. Despite being newcomers, they will be looking to make an immediate impact in their first Hlanganani Community League campaign.
Umlazi Cosmos FC also enter as debutants. The club will be eager to test itself against established teams and make a strong first impression in its maiden Hlanganani Communit
