Request for Donations – 1st Royal Scouts, Bluff (Durban)
Dear Community Members, Local Businesses, and Supporters,
The 1st Royal Scouts based on the Bluff in Durban are reaching out with an urgent request for assistance.
Over recent months, our Scout hall has unfortunately experienced multiple break-ins and acts of vandalism. This has placed both our facilities and, more importantly, our children at risk. As a result, we are in urgent need of securing our property to ensure a safe and protected environment for our Scouts.
We are seeking donations of materials to help us install basic fencing around our premises. This does not need to be new or high-end—good-quality second-hand materials would be greatly appreciated. Specifically, we are in need of:
Fencing (any suitable type)
Poles/posts
Cement
A gate (if available)
As a registered non-profit organisation, we are able to provide official tax certificates for any financial or material donations, which can be used for tax deductions.
In appreciation of your support, sponsors will also be given the opportunity to:
Display advertising boards at our premises
Receive promotion and recognition across our social media and Facebook platforms
Your contribution—whether big or small—will directly help us create a safer space for the young people in our community.
