Today we honour the courage and sacrifice of the youth of 16 June 1975, who stood up for their right to education and a better future.

As we commemorate Youth Day 2026, we also recognise the challenges facing today's youth β€” school violence, teen pregnancy, substance abuse, exploitation and many other social issues that threaten their potential.

To you, the YOUTH in our community - you have the potential and power to raise your voices, to take ownership, to work hard and to become the leaders who inspire hope - the changemakers!

Athlone park supply update

The tower has drained to empty, and pumping is presently directly to reticulation.

Once the tower starts filling again, it will indicate that reticulation is fully pressurized.

Reservoir levels are still stable.

Supply was restored at Arbour Road.

Do alert if there is still no water complaints from the RESERVOIR zone.

Pumping from Prospecton is still holding stable.
