⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTICE – ACARA CRISIS RELIEF NPC ⚠️

It has come to my attention that a sponsor who came to support Acara Crisis Relief NPC was met by individuals across the road from our premises who allegedly accepted donated clothing intended for Acara Crisis Relief and sold the items without our knowledge or permission.

Please be advised that only myself, Ashmika Ramkhelawan, my mum, Arti Ramkhelawan, or my dad, Vischal Ramkhelawan, who collects items on our behalf, are authorised to receive donations for Acara Crisis Relief NPC.

If the donations were not received by myself or my mum, or collected by my dad, then they were not received by Acara Crisis Relief NPC with our knowledge or permission.

We kindly ask all sponsors and donors to please confirm directly with us before handing over any donations to anyone claiming to represent our organisation.

We value the trust our sponsors and donors place in Acara Crisis Relief NPC, and we take this matter seriously. We cannot be held responsible for donations handed to unauthorised individuals without our knowledge or consent.

🙏 A HUGE thank you to HEAL Foundation South Africa – HEAL Kitchen c/o Vidisha Benimadho for Thursday, 1st October’s meals! ❤️

On Thursday, 6 × 20-litre buckets of samp with soya were shared with residents of Clayfield and Stonebridge, providing approximately 600 plates of food. 🍲

Recipients collect meals in 2-litre containers, with each container feeding around 5 people.

A heartfelt thank you to my mother, everyone who assisted, and our sponsor who covered this week’s transport costs. 🚐❤️

Every Thursday, we collect these meals from Durban C*D to Phoenix. With transport costs rising, we kindly ask for support to keep this service going.

🙏🏽 Acara Crisis Relief NPC – Purattasi, Pitru Paksha & Mahalaya Paksham Seva 🙏🏽

This Saturday, Acara Crisis Relief NPC will be commencing our Purattasi, Pitru Paksha and Mahalaya Paksham Seva.

During this sacred time of prayer, remembrance and offerings to our ancestors, we will be distributing bread and grocery hampers to assist families with their oblations.

Our Seva will not end with Pitru Paksha. We will continue through Navratri and Diwali, keeping our traditions, values and the spirit of Sanatana Dharma alive.

If you feel called to be part of this Seva, we warmly welcome your support. By helping a family with a loaf of bread or a grocery hamper, you are not only providing a meal — you are helping families honour their traditions and continue their Sanatana Dharma.

Let us come together, support one another and keep our Dharma alive through Seva, compassion and unity. 🙏🏽

🎉🍞 Bread Distribution – Week of 21 September 2026 🌸🙏🏻

A heartfelt thank you to all our generous donors for making this week's Bread Seva possible. 🙏❤️

Thanks to your kindness and generosity, 95 loaves of bread were shared with residents of Stonebridge, Clayfield, and surrounding areas, bringing nourishment, comfort and hope to families in need. 🍞✨

We are especially grateful for the 75 loaves sponsored to commemorate the 75th birthday of Mr Ramesh Rampersad. 🎂🍞❤️ What a beautiful way to mark such a special milestone — by sharing with those in need.

Our Bread Seva was carried out on 23 September 2026 – the Equinox. 🌍✨

The Equinox is regarded as a spiritually significant time when acts of charity are believed to bring multiplied blessings.

It is traditionally said that giving on this day brings 400,000 times the ordinary result.

🍞 Even one loaf given in seva is believed to carry the spiritual merit of giving 400,000 loaves. 🙏🏻

Every loaf shared is an act of compassion, and every contribution helps us continue serving our community. ❤️
