🙏 A HUGE thank you to HEAL Foundation South Africa – HEAL Kitchen c/o Vidisha Benimadho for yesterday's meals! ❤️

Yesterday, 3 × 20-litre buckets of sugar beans curry with potatoes and 3 × 20-litre buckets of rice were shared with residents of Clayfield and Stonebridge, providing approximately 300 plates of food. 🍲

Recipients collect meals in 2-litre containers, with each container feeding around 5 people.

A heartfelt thank you to my mother, Sandra Govender, and everyone who assisted with yesterday's feeding initiative. ❤️🙏

We are also deeply grateful to our sponsor for covering this week's transport costs. 🚐

Every Thursday, we collect these meals from Durban CBD and bring them to Phoenix. As transport costs continue to rise, we kindly ask for support to help us continue this vital service in the weeks ahead. If you would like to assist, please contact 074 204 1395. 📞

🌸 SANITARY TOWEL DONATION & DISTRIBUTION – 2 AUGUST 2026 🌸

On 2 August 2026, Acara Crisis Relief NPC joined the convoy with the Murugas Sisterhood - Dbn Chapter Murugas SMC - Durban Chapter, travelling from Blue Lagoon to Robin’s Nest for their annual pad drive. ❤️

A huge and heartfelt thank you to Juliet Chetty and Sugan Moodley for their incredible generosity in assisting us with over 1,000 packets of sanitary towels. 🙏❤️
