Over 1200 job opportunities in Round 4. Round 5 of the Social Employment Fund is now underway at weFEEDsa.

Our focus remains on building, supporting and nourishing communities across KwaZulu-Natal through sustainable, long-term solutions that outlast any single project.

Round 4 created work that gave people dignity, income and a way to serve their own communities. 🌱

From feeding programmes to school improvements and community gardens, that work is building stronger, more resilient communities for the long term. We're carrying that momentum into Round 5.

We welcome partners who want to help build stronger, more empowered communities. Details in the comments. 👇

Today, we honour the cultures, traditions, and diversity that make South Africa unique, from languages and food to shared stories. We celebrate the people, diversities and communities that make South Africa what it is.

The Al Baraka Bank team joined us in honouring Mandela day at Sally’s Soup Kitchen in Welbedacht, helping with meal preparation and serving nutritious meals to community members.

They also generously donated a new fridge, roof sheeting, two large pots and gas burners to support the kitchen’s day-to-day operations and meal preparation.

We’re grateful for partnerships that continue to support our communities beyond a single day.

Thank you Al Baraka Bank South Africa , for being part of the work. 🌱
