🖋️ Essay Writing Competition: Gandhi's Journey in South Africa 🖋️
On January 9th, 2025, we mark 110 years of Mahatma Gandhi's return to India from South Africa in 1915. This day is celebrated by the Govt. of India as "Pravasi Bharatiya Divas" annually to honor the Overseas Indian community's contributions to the country's development 🌍✨
Care for Africa NPO 307-757 in collaboration with the India in South Africa (Consulate General of India, Durban) would like to invite young writers between the ages of 7 to 15 years to explore Gandhi's transformative journey in South Africa and share their personal lessons from his story through this essay. Every writer will be required to submit a 1x A4-page essay. 🕊️

🏆 Every child will obtain a participation certificate from the Consulate's office and lucky winners will walk away with a prize on India's Republic Day celebrations in Durban.
