PB Paw Rescue, formerly known as YMA, was created from the need to rescue strays, abused, and neglected animals, so that they may finally find loving homes that they are deserving of. The Montclair/Yellowwood Park area has shown a huge need for a rescue organization to step in, and we have. If you, as the public, notify us of animals in need of rescuing, we will come to the animals aid. We will take in the abused, lost, and injured, have our wonderful vet tend to them, and we will find these babies loving homes. We will also go forth and educate anyone who is willing, on how to properly care for your pet. Should our foster homes all be full, we will take rescued furbabies to the Toti SPCA. Understand that we can only do so much with the resources that we have. You would never tolerate a human that breeds and sells their children to unknown families and unknown situations. This is what dog breeders do, whether they are considered reputable or not. No animal asks to be impregnated only to have a human sell away their children. Many of these animals end up being starved, abused, neglected, and then dumped when they are no longer considered useful. As a rescue, we aim to save these animals from such lives. Just as no human would want to live a life of misery, no animal wishes to either. How can you help? Please report any harmful activity to us. We cannot be everywhere at once, when you report to us, we go out for you. You will never be publically named. In reporting, you become a voice for the voiceless. You become the first step into changing the lives of the animals in question. You may not get a medal, but your actions will live on with you and the animal you saved, and no one can ever take away the proof of your good deed. Another way in which you can help us help the animals is by sponsoring a sterilisation, and by sharing our posts.
