This Women's Month, we're shining a light on Older Women - a group too often overlooked.
Since the inception of TAFTA's Elder Abuse Line (TEAL), 65% of reported elder abuse victims have been women, with those aged 70-79 most affected and many experiencing multiple forms of abuse
These are more than statistics; they are mothers, grandmothers, sisters, aunts, neighbors and friends who deserve to age with dignity, respect and safety.
That's why we're introducing Spill the TEAL with Auntie Teal!
Join us every Tuesday as Auntie Teal shares practical advice, tackles myths about ageing, and helps us all play a part in preventing elder abuse.
Because no woman should become invisible simply because she has grown older.
โก๏ธ Follow our page and join Auntie Teal every Tuesday as she spills the TEAL, one conversation at a time. Together, we can change perceptions, spark important conversations, and help create a world where every older person is respected, protected and never forgotten.
