UPDATE
Howzit everyone,
The last few weeks have not been easy. I have been faced with some tough decisions, however, after making my final decision I would like to let you all know that my little paddle has been temporarily been put on pause. No one is more upset than myself at the moment... I left everything to go on an adventure, this adventure took so many unanticipated turns and grew into something much bigger than what I had originally planned. Which lead me down a path I will always be forever grateful for!
With that being said I will be sitting the Winter out, raising funds, training, working, and planning the Durban to Cape Town trip with clear intentions until I feel fully prepared!

After taking some time to think about it, I have accepted that my goal of paddling the east coast of South Africa will be done in a longer time frame than expected. Life happens, and this is mearly a stepping stone in the right direction to meet my ultimate goal (Bare with me)

I wish you all, all the best with your adventures, goals and dreams!

I would like to leave this quote here which was given to me by another South African adventurer Richard Kohler.
"Remember, your attitude is the difference between an adventure or an ordeal."

We will be back!

We the team, would like to take a minute to thank our various sponsors, who all contributed in one way or another. Your sponsorship put huge smiles on the teams faces and took heaps of stress off of our shoulders as we made our way to Durban.

We would also like to thank all those family and friends who helped at the fundraiser, your efforts and support were truly appreciated. Thank you! πŸŒ“πŸ’•

Day 7 Dream Team. On day 7 Stu was accompanied for the first time out on the ocean by two friends. I’m sure he appreciated the company as he is usually left alone with his thoughts for hours at a time. πŸŽ–πŸŽ§

Howzit everyone,

Myself and the team are looking to head back up to Sodwana Bay to complete the 70km stretch between Sodwana and Cape Vidal.
In doing so I am hoping to have a vessel follow me on this section. Anyone who wants to get involved and can help in anyway would be great.
This will be my longest one day paddle and the support out on the water would be hugely appreciated.

When: Now in May 2021 (date to be confirmed so suit all parties)

Broken Boat: Stu, Myles and Johann beaching at Salmon Bay, Ballito in 6m waves.

On day 6 Stu did another 40km straight without taking a break. He had to beach next to the Tugela River mouth that is known to be crawling with Zambezi Sharks but all went well and he was so relieved to be back. πŸ¦ˆπŸŒŠπŸ†
