Father's House International is a Canadian-based charity making an impact in the relief of poverty by assisting orphaned and abandoned children in Romania and South Africa. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
3. We believe in Jesus Christ, God’s Son, born of the virgin Mary, died on the cross for our sins, was buried, rose from the
grave and ascended to the right hand of the Father.
4. We believe Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation, and that anyone who believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life.
5. We believe that Christians are motivated by love to grow in Godly character to serve the Lord through the power of the Holy Spirit.
6. We believe that the ministry of evangelism is a responsibility of both the church and each Christian. FHI STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
In keeping with our Mission Statement and Faith Statement, we purpose to develop long-term solutions to empower people to overcome poverty by:
1. Providing a family, with a mother and father, for orphaned and/or abandoned children within their country of origin, in which we serve.
2. Providing for the necessities of life for the above children through their adoptive or foster families, including food, shelter, clothing, and health care.
3. Providing for development of the whole person for these children: companionship, education, life-skills, and leadership training according to individual ability.
4. Providing opportunity for donors in North America to financially and prayerfully support the above children, and their adoptive/foster families.
5. Working closely and in compliance with government agencies within the countries in which we serve, especially Canada, including financial, social service, legal, and health agencies.
