Umlazi Toastmasters Club Elevate Online was formerly known as Umlazi. Toastmasters International values integrity, respect , service and excellence.

Toastmasters International is a non profit educational organization that teaches public speaking, develops leadership skills but most importantly for this club is the cammeraderie. Our focus as a club is to provide a supportive and positive learning environment in which members are empowered to develop communication and leadership skills, resulting in greater self confidence and personal growth. W

e meet on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at 18:00 on Zoom. Follow and like this page to keep updated for meeting invites and club posts. 💗 Club Coach & Toastmaster Lesego, reminded us that women raise the nation.
💗 Zee, as grammarian, reflected on the 'legacy' of our women leaders, past, present & future.
💗 Julie encouraged us to speak clearly.
💗 Candice made sure we were on time.
💗Collen visited us from Zimbabwe & demonstrated body language to enhance our message.
💗 Mzamo emphasised how important it is to raise well balanced young men.
💗 Ntobeko Mhlongo proposed that we travel the world using our Toastmasters passport.
💗 Edwin posed topics for impromtu speeches on women's super powers.
💗Our president & Exco members greeted every member & guest, especially international visitors.
💗 GE Nokothula Mcinga visited us & found us to be elevated!

An enthusiastic explanation was given by our member & past district leader Nontobeka Mhlongo as to how we, as Toastmasters, are free to travel the world!
We are not confined to our own home club, but are welcome to visit & participate at any club, any time, anywhere, as many times as you want!
Nontobeka challenged us to make the most of using our Toastmasters passport to 'travel' around Africa & even around the world!
