A look back at an initiative that helped restore sight, hope and quality of life. 👁️✨

Vision loss can affect physical and mental well-being, increasing the risk of falls while contributing to isolation, loneliness, depression and anxiety.

Through its sponsorship of the Keratoconus Foundation South Africa, the Sibaya Community Trust helped patients access life-changing eye care, including corneal transplants, cross-linking procedures, Intacs and specialised contact lenses.

Chairman Vivian Reddy highlighted the importance of supporting those who have never experienced the gift of sight.

A proud moment for Food4Africa! ❤️

Every day, they continue their vital mission of putting food on the tables of those who need it most. So far in 2026, Food4Africa has distributed an incredible 42,300 meals to hungry tummies across our communities. 🍲

As one of our valued beneficiaries, the Sibaya Community Trust is honoured and proud to support Food4Africa and be part of an initiative that makes such a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Here’s to continuing to nourish, uplift and make a difference — one meal at a time. 🙏❤️

Looking back at one of the Sibaya Community Trust’s disaster relief initiatives. ❤️

During times of natural disasters and major climatic events, the Sibaya Community Trust remains committed to providing meaningful, hands-on support to non-profit organisations working tirelessly on the ground.

This throwback highlights our 2022 KwaZulu-Natal Flood Relief Initiative, where the Trust donated essential food, baby care products, hygiene supplies and other much-needed items to assist families affected by the devastating floods. By partnering with dedicated NPOs, we helped ensure critical relief reached those who needed it most during one of the province’s most challenging times.

Together, we continue to stand with our communities in times of need, bringing hope, compassion and practical support where it matters most.

Looking back at one of our proud milestones in community development. ❤️

Demonstrating our ongoing commitment to uplifting communities, Mr. Vivian Reddy, Chairman of the Sibaya Community Trust, officially handed over three new classrooms and modern ablution facilities to Sarasvati Primary School in Tongaat.

This R1 million investment provided much-needed learning space, helping to create a safer, more comfortable environment for learners while supporting the school’s continued growth. Projects like these reflect the Trust’s dedication to making a lasting impact through meaningful education and community development initiatives.

Honouring Madiba’s Legacy Through Meaningful Action.

This Mandela Day, the Sibaya Community Trust proudly continues its commitment to creating lasting change by delivering three transformative infrastructure projects that will improve the lives of hundreds of beneficiaries across KwaZulu-Natal.

Inspired by Nelson Mandela’s vision of service, dignity and compassion, these projects reflect our ongoing mission to uplift vulnerable communities through sustainable development.

🏡 Merewent Cheshire Home
Essential upgrades were completed, including the repair and replacement of more than 20 windows and the installation of steel support railings, creating a safer and more accessible environment for residents living with disabilities.

🏫 West Park Special Needs School
Two newly constructed ablution blocks now provide learners with safe, accessible and dignified sanitation facilities, supporting children with a wide range of physical and intellectual disabilities.

❤️ CANSA Accommodation Facility
A newly upgraded six-bed accommodation facility now offers cancer patients travelling long distances for treatment a comfortable “home away from home”, helping to ease the emotional and financial burden on patients and their families.

For more than two decades, the Sibaya Community Trust has remained dedicated to transforming lives through sustainable community development. With over R280 million invested in social upliftment initiatives across KwaZulu-Natal, the Trust continues to make a meaningful impact in education, healthcare, disability support, community development, poverty alleviation, youth empowerment and infrastructure.

As we honour the life and legacy of Nelson Mandela, we reaffirm our belief that lasting change is achieved through compassion, partnership and action. Together, we continue building stronger, more resilient communities—one project, one life and one act of kindness at a time.
