GENERAL EXPERIENCE OF STAKEHOLDERS
The general experience for stakeholders was very great, people showed up their interest in large numbers in our project, people even inbox us for more information about what we specialize on. Since we were using social media accounts (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube). People were showing interest in our project preparation trust they even ask for the address so that they can come for themselves.
We get contacted daily by donors asking about our project wishing to help us in different needs of the project. Easter celebration was very interesting to the community, they enjoyed farming with us and learning more things about crops. We are appreciative everyone who helped us celebrate this day, including the donors, community members, parents and the governing body. Since we received so much support, our school children are eager to attend PPT events.
Parents were overjoyed to see their children having a good time and learning more about farming. Moving forward we will continue to host more events.
Local establishments have given us a lot of support, after reading our blog they reacted and contacted us for any assistance we require. What is more interesting is that most learners are now interested in studying towards agricultural studies. Most learners are interested on the farming and planting of crops and how to keep them growing. The incidents in Project Preparation Trust taught us a lot about interpersonal communication and maintaining positive relationships with our parents.
The events that occurred in our PPT greatly assisted us, bringing nice individuals and a lot of assistance. The organisation lacked the funds necessary to conduct exceptional events, but donations, sponsors, the community and parents al contributed to the events’ success.
Engaging with Project Preparation Trust stakeholders both internal and external of the organisation was fantastic all around. My professionalism as a public relations student has improved and these experience have shown me the value of having tolerance with both school leaners and community.
