Good to all who supported and donated to Wentworth Green Team United since the organization stated in 2021 and especially for the second phase of the organizations projects which were Teak Place Gardens and Santiago Place.
However, it is with regret that I hereby inform all our sponsors and donors that the organization is now closed and discontinued. The Teak Place Garden and K1 Garden are still in operation by Cathy Abrahams and. Mylene Germaine Camp even though, even there great challenges are being faced.
The Cycas Road Garden Project is canceled due to lack of interest and buy - in from the community in the area.
Santiago Place Garden, though there is no construction that is needed there but maintaining and plants needed to be added to the garden beds is also canceled.
Unfortunately, I cannot continue. If the community does not participate and support these community then there is no point in continuing. There have been some wonderful community members who did donate and gave what they could, and mostly the Wentworth community members who are living abroad also supported the most, but for the past two years we have not fundraised due to poor support and show ups and also there have been no donations. Gardens need funding and since it's not happening there is no way these gardens can survive.
I have finalized all the financial books of the organization. Should the donors and sponsors wish to review the books they must please in box me their email addresses and I will email the accounting spread sheets to them.
Thanks to Cathy Abrahams, Mylene Camp and Gillian Hodnett for their work on the gardens and most of all to all the donors and sponsors of Wentworth Green Team United.
