⚽🔥

It takes a village to raise a child! Together with South African Police Service Sydenham Al Ansaar Islamic Community Radio Station AL ANSAAR Community Police Forum and our community partners, we brought the vibes with an incredible day of boys’ and girls’ soccer!

Granted that this was not rugby, our lionesses did well reaching the semi-finals and losing a close game against Charles Hugo Primary School . At the end of the day though, it was not about winning or losing, it was creating the future generation of leaders in our community.

Building unity, empowering our youth, and saying NO to drugs and substance abuse! 💪❤️

One community, one goal, a brighter future! Our Community .. is OUR Legacy ❤️‍🩹

Life is to be enjoyed, not endured.

Positive vibes, positive mindset ... each day, every day! And this is how we do rugby too. Making it fun, and making it accessible to everyone.

From there to here, and here to there, funny things are everywhere. A great mantra for the start of the week!

Our community .. is OUR Legacy ❤

The only way to conquer fear is to step through it.

The game we love has many perceptions of it. Many of these become a barrier of participation. Our foundational principle is one of rugby for everyone. Our role is to grow the game, but we also emphasise growing the player, the person and our community in the process.

Be happy for what you have learned, be happy for where you come from and be excited for where you are going.

More than rugby, this is who we are and this is our Player Mentorship Program. Making rugby fun, and encouraging our cubs to take it one step further - off the field, and into their lives.

Always grateful to the sport for giving us valueable life lessons and allowing us to grow our values.

Our Community, is OUR Legacy ❤️

Obstacles in your path are not blocks to stop you, but tests to see how badly you want to fight for your goals.

The game we love teaches us how to fight for the ball, the tenacity required and the never-give-up attitude. Translating that mindset off the field requires a bit of adaptation, but its all the same.

Uma ungakusukeli okudingayo ngeke ukuthole. Phila ngaphandle kokuzisola. Uma ukufuna kulwele 💪🏾 Amabhubesi Ayohlezi Ekhonya ✊🏼

Obstacles are what you see when you take your eyes off the goal.

Rugby is a game which teaches many on field values. The trick is to then translate it into what we do OFF the field. This is our Player Mentorship Program. Empowering our players all year round to recognise, embrace and pursue the opportunities in life ethically.
