The first step in recovery is admitting that we need help. ๐Ÿค

The help available to us and the help we choose to take can sometimes be two different things.

A huge part of recovery is sometimes doing things that we dont agree with or even understand. ๐Ÿ’ก

Join us on Monday nights at Project Exodus to learn to look at the benefit of choosing to trust God even when things dont make sense, choosing to look at our situation from a different perspective, and learning that a healthy recovery is most often found on the other side of our comfort zones. ๐Ÿ†

We were honoured to participate in the Unilever Wellness Day over the last few weeks, engaging with teams across the Soap Factory (Maydon Wharf), Indonsa Foods, Phoenix Deodorants, and Head Office.

Our team shared practical, grounded insights on emotional wellness and addiction recovery.

True recovery is a process - not a quick fix. It thrives when we actively build supportive environments where people feel safe to speak and rediscover direction.

Thank you to everyone who attended, engaged, and shared such positive feedback with us.

If you or a loved one needs to take the next step, remember: you donโ€™t have to walk this alone.

Some triggers are loud.
Some are silent.
But recovery is learning that you donโ€™t have to respond the way you used to. ๐Ÿค

This week, weโ€™re talking about Tackling Triggers - identifying the people, places, emotions, and thoughts that try to pull us backwards, while building healthy strategies that move us forward.

Healing is not about pretending triggers donโ€™t exist.
Itโ€™s about growing stronger, wiser, and supported enough to face them differently.

Relapse doesnโ€™t happen overnight.
It begins with a thought, a feeling, a justificationโ€ฆ and before long, the cycle starts again.

Join us tomorrow evening, as unpack the hidden thought patterns that keep people trapped and learn how to break the cycle before it reaches the action stage.

This is a safe space for real conversations, real support, and real recovery. โค๏ธ

In the veld, the greenest grass grows after the fire. If you feel like youโ€™re in the middle of a blaze right now, remember: recovery is a process, not a quick fix.

You are not alone. This is your next step.
