When the water play tables become storage for the food donations 😂🫶🏼

The Hollywoodbets Sharks are doing MORE than just scoring tries! 🦈✨ Through their "Tries for Tummies" initiative The Seed Fund was the proud beneficiary of a massive delivery of fresh produce this week. 🥕🥦🍠 These nutritious ingredients are going straight into our community kitchens, helping us fuel early childhood development and fight hunger right here in Malacca, Durban North!

Champions - on and off the field! 🖤🤍🏁 Thank you The Sharks and good luck for your game tomorrow!

🇿🇦 Happy Heritage Day from all of us at The Seed Fund!

From beautiful isiZulu and isiXhosa traditional clothing to Springbok jerseys, beads and lots of colour, our children had so much fun celebrating the beautiful cultures that make South Africa special ❤️💛💚💙

We love how our little ones embraced learning about where we come from, our different traditions and what makes each of us unique! 🌈

It's International Literacy Day & we are celebrating literacy in action right at our Community Center! ✨📚

Back in February, we launched our English Literacy Programme in partnership with The Book Village, with one simple goal: to help children not only read words, but understand them. And every weekday, 14 eager young readers take part in online reading sessions with volunteers, building their skills and confidence.

Grateful to Sindi Khawula who has been instrumental in getting the programme up and running and continues to make sure every child is logged in, supported and ready to learn. 💛

International Literacy Day is a reminder of just how powerful the ability to read can be. It opens the door to learning, confidence, opportunity and so much more!

🌱 Growing Together | Playball

There is SO much joy when the Playball team arrives each week! 💚

Their energy, enthusiasm and genuine love for our children is felt in every lesson and our little ones absolutely thrive on it. Through movement, games and play, they are given opportunity to build important gross motor skills, confidence and so much more!

Thank you, Playball, for showing up week after week and investing in our kiddos. We are incredibly grateful to have you as a Seed Fund Friend.

Building lasting change, together 🌱

Proud of this brave, big hearted and dedicated woman, not afraid to chase after her dreams! ✨ We are so lucky to have you with us at The Seed Fund 💚

When Sinazo Mbunjana arrived in Durban from the Eastern Cape in 2015, she dreamed of working with children and becoming a teacher.

Today, the single mother manages an ECD centre serving 42 children in Malacca Road Informal Settlement — a journey she describes as a dream come true.

Sindi’s strength was always hers. Opportunity simply gave it somewhere to grow. 🌱💛

Women’s Day reminds us of the extraordinary things that happen when women are given the freedom and opportunity to shape their own futures. Women who work hard, provide, dream. Women who are building a different future for their children and themselves.👏🏼

Today - we celebrate the INCREDIBLE team of women - man oh man are we lucky! These women give so much more than just their time; their hearts are poured out in everything they do, everyday! These kiddies are truly blessed to be so loved by you all. 💚✨
