Our Chief Director, in his capacity, honoured an invite by the Departments: Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs and the Minister, and leader of the Inkatha Freedom Party - IFP, Velinkosi Habisa along with the Deputy Ministers at Birchwood Hotel & OR Tambo Conference Centre , to participate in the review of the White paper on Local Government, last introduced in 1996. Its a policy on how councillors, municipal offiialls and all other parties in local gov should behave, do and not do!
This was a demonstrative that youth, like you and i were represented in highest forms of Government. The ๐ช๐ฃ๐๐26, will focus on ensuring that youth in South Africa are paved ways to participate in local government in terms of matters relating to them, including upskilling, improving education and fighting social ills
