Dear friends
My cyberworld experience the past month or two has been a challenge but a learning experience none the less. My Gmail account was hacked and with it came the realization of how many online profiles are linked to an email address. That in itself was, and still is a challenge to fix. In addition, suddenly my main FB account has gone bonkers too. FB for some reason now think that I am Chinese and keep sending me recovery messages in Mandarin or some such.
I have decided to convert this page into my main FB presence. If you are reading this and you are not a friend on this profile yet, please befriend me if we are/were friends on my other page. And inform our mutual friends too is you do not mind.
Herein lies a lesson for all: Google and Facebook Security are not co-operative at all when one is criminally hacked. Take great care in setting up alternative means to protect your profiles and also alternative means of access to your profiles. The cyber thieves are brilliant and have ways to override one's security mechanisms.
