HOPE Cape Town HOPE Cape Town is a registered non-profit organisation based in Cape Town, that aims to raise the quality of life of people and communities.

Emphasis is placed on children and their families in situations of poverty, HIV/AIDS and related illnesses. HOPE Cape Town works holistically in the fields of health, early childhood development, youth, social services, vocational training and entrepreneurial skills development in the Western Cape. The HOPE Cape Town Trust is responsible to safeguard the future of HOPE Cape Town financially.HOPE

Cape Town has MOU's with the Universities of Stellenbosch, Western Cape, Dualen Hochschule Baden-Wuerttemberg and many other other entities from the state and civil society. The main campus is located in Delft / South Africa and called: The Nex - Indawo Yethu

This weekend, hosted its first IGNITE Shark Tank Event, giving young FTC Robotics teams the chance to put their business, marketing and fundraising skills to the test.

Our NexGen Robotics team didn’t hesitate when the opportunity came to pitch — they volunteered to be the very first team to face the judges and a packed audience! Talk about starting with the pressure on.

Their courage, preparation and hard work paid off with 3rd place for their sponsorship pitch, as well as an incredible 3D printer sponsored by Dirk Snoeck Henkemans.

But this was about more than winning. It was about proving to themselves that they have the confidence and skills to stand up, pitch their ideas and ask businesses to invest in their journey.
With new funding and a 3D printer on board, NexGen is now one step closer to designing their own custom robot parts and achieving their goal of competing at the SA National Championships in February 2027.

Alle südafrikanischen Kandidaten des Moving North Pilotprojekts haben im Fachbereich Metall - z.B. für den Beruf Metallbauer/in oder Fachkraft für Metalltechnik - ihre Anerkennung in Deutschland erhalten . In zwei Fällen war dafür eine Nachqualifizierung nötig. 🛠💪

Die Südafrikanerinnen und Südafrikaner leben seit Mai 2025 in Deutschland und haben sich schnell in den Betrieben gut eingelebt. 🫶
