Through occupational therapy intervention, the children in the Playgroup at our Blikkiesdorp Community Outreach Centre are developing essential fine motor skills — from holding a pencil with the correct grip, to using scissors safely and cutting various shapes.
These may seem like simple tasks, but they are important building blocks for learning, independence and confidence — helping children develop the skills they need not only for Grade 1, but for everyday life.

We are proud to share the inspiring story of HOPE Cape Town Association CEO Dr Izane Reyneke who was selected as one of the 10 Faces Changing Africa – South Africa Women Edition.
Dr Reyneke’s journey began as a desire to understand people and has evolved into a life dedicated to helping people live with greater dignity, possibility, and hope.

Organized by StArfrica (Startup Germany-Africa), the initiative places the spotlight on ten exceptional female founders and entrepreneurs who are driving innovation across biotechnology, healthcare, green energy, agriculture, and social impact, while connecting them to the German investment and innovation ecosystem.

Delft Nex Indawo Yethu WCG E-Centre in Bavaria House in cooperation with the Western Cape administration is a safe space where participants in our Coder Dojo programme have the opportunity to develop their coding, problem-solving and digital skills.

Learners are encouraged to work through practical and engaging activities independently while receiving guidance and support from the eCentre facilitators. This approach helps learners strengthen their logical thinking, creativity and ability to solve problems using technology.

The participation of both primary and high school learners demonstrates the growing interest in coding and digital skills among young people in the community.
