De Hoop SA De Hoop SA is a non-profit organisation, aiming to assist the rural community in and around De Hoop. De Hoop SA was founded in September 2021.

We are restoring the historical church building at De Hoop and developing unique affordable housing units. As a non-profit organisation, it aims to assist the rural community in and around De Hoop, with restorative projects at the premises of the local historical church buildings, the development of affordable housing and sustainable job creation. Our key message is: “Die Hoop Beskaam nie” (the Hope is not ashamed...) We will bring hope by developing a community where poverty can be alleviated through preserving the existing assets as working and income generating projects, while also building dignified housing and creating job opportunities for our beneficiaries.
