INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY | FINANCE & ACCOUNTING

Women Leadership Social Empowerment (WLSE) invites applications from suitably qualified graduates seeking an opportunity to gain practical workplace experience through an Internship Programme.

Minimum Requirements:
• Qualification in Finance Management, Accounting, or a related field
• Recent graduate seeking workplace exposure
• Strong interest in developing practical skills within a professional environment
• Good communication, organisational and administrative skills

EMPOWER HER: CELEBRATING WOMEN, BUILDING CONFIDENCE, CREATING OPPORTUNITIES

What an incredible day of connection, learning, celebration and empowerment! 💜

The Empower Her event brought women and young people together in a space designed to inspire confidence, encourage meaningful conversations and promote opportunities for personal and social development.

From skills development and interactive activities to powerful conversations, networking and moments of celebration, the day reminded us of the strength that exists when women come together. 🤝🏾💪🏾

We were proud to see participants engaging, learning, sharing experiences and celebrating one another — because empowerment is not just about giving women a voice; it is about creating spaces where that voice can be heard. ✨

A special highlight was the Start the Conversation (STC) initiative, creating an additional space for engagement, information-sharing and meaningful dialogue.

Today Women Leadership Social Empowerment attended a powerful closing event for Women's Month at UNISA, in partnership with the South African Council of Churches (SACC).

The theme of the day was "Passing the Baton" – honouring the legacy of the women of 1956 while empowering the next generation of women leaders to carry the torch forward.

As we celebrated the courageous Women of 1955/1956, we were honoured to be in the presence of Mam Sophia De Bruyn, a living legend who was part of the historic march for change. Her presence reminded us that the struggle for equality was not in vain and that the baton is now in our hands.

It was a moment of reflection, empowerment and recommitment to the fight for social justice, gender equality and spiritual leadership.

We close Women's Month inspired and ready to run our leg of the race.
