I-collect for charity: is a free used/unwanted items collections service for charity. We collect unwanted goods/items such as toys, wear, blankets, food parcels, toiletries; stationary, new or old furniture’s and etc. We can collect your donations from your home or work place; we give opportunity to all those who never had especially for children who grew up under
poverty. I-collect was formed in June 2017 by a group of youth in Barcelona Township (Daveyton) who believes in making a difference in the communities. VISION
To be a leading organization that collects and donates for charity, and skills development for children and young people. MISSION
To collect and donate for charity, and create a pool of highly talented skilled children and young people through sports, craft, arts, event, learning and life skills. AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
• To create awareness of social ills, through organizing events, festival and workshops for the children, and young people.
• To build capacity and train young people and children in performing arts, sports, graphic designing, filmmaking and photography.
• To provide most advanced strategies for donation and innovative, efficient training.
• To create a pool of highly talented children and young people in an enabling environment for entrepreneurship.
• To cooperate and network with other organization with similar objective.
• To grow an economically viable South African future youth. We are willing to take initiatives for the project into success for South African’s future Leader’s. WE OPERATE THIS WAY
We will accommodate the pick-up request for your chosen day and time, and we will contact you over the phone or via email, we will collect from your home or work address. Your donations will be used in honor and respected way. One of our values is to be reliable and collect on time as agreed and confirmed with you, you decide when and where we will collect and we will be there! No need to leave things outside it will get stolen or get ruined due to bad weather. Our Purpose is to provide and give to those who seek help indeed; for the hopeless and helpless. Donating to us will make a huge difference to children. The bible says that a hand that gives it is blessed than the hand that receives. BACKGROUND AND DEVELOPMENT
We have given our personal belongings items to the ones in need; by the time weren’t aware that we’ve given a piece of joy to someone’s heart, we realized how important was to give back. Since from the day we knew we should make it every day. In 2015 we have associated ourselves in early childhood development (ECD’s) participation. And practically involved in pre-schools during week days and every first Saturday of the months in a community sports field, we involved every child in the community into joining us during the ECD sport and other activities, Refreshments where available for each and every one after the last session. FUTURE PLANNING
Our main goals are to invest our mindset into shaping a young generation into something gold and feed their brain into bright and promising future, as well as to become a number one biggest charity organization in South Africa. KEY PROCESS
We give according to specific need of a child. We aim to please, prioritize and satisfy.
