If there's mud, you can bet our piggies will find it! 😂

And once they're in… good luck getting them out! 🐽

A little rolling, some splashing, and a whole lot of muddy happiness!
Just look at how much they're enjoying themselves!

Life at Pigs ’n’ Paws can get pretty messy, but we wouldn't have it any other way! ❤️🐷

💕 Want to help keep those little tails wagging and the muddy fun going?
You can sponsor one of our rescued animals or contribute towards their happiness!

🐷🎨 We’re getting closer to 50 preorders — and we’d love your help!

We think we’re at around 20 preorders so far. We need at least 50 paid preorders for our first Pigs ’n’ Paws colouring book to go to print.

This special first edition was created just for the sanctuary. Inside this 20-page A4 book, you’ll meet 16 real rescue residents. Each has their own colouring page, a short story and a real-life photo. Colour their picture, read their story and get to know the animal behind the page.

With thick, perforated pages you can tear out and display, it’s a joyful creative activity for children and adults. It could also make a lovely Christmas or birthday gift for an animal-loving creative soul. Fair warning: choosing a favourite resident may be harder than staying inside the lines! 😄

Once printing, packaging and project costs are covered, the remaining funds will support Pigs ’n’ Paws through the challenging November to January months.

R290 per book + R87 courier per parcel. Orders close 6 November 2026. If we don’t reach 50 paid preorders, everyone will receive a full refund to their original payment method.

Please note: Preorders can only be placed through our website. Your book will be couriered to your preferred South African address. This preorder is currently open to South African residents only; we’re unable to ship internationally.

Please preorder here so your order is recorded and counted towards the target:

Can you help us get these pages into print? Every preorder brings us closer. ❤️

💦 WARNING: You may get splashed just watching this!

Some piggies are soaking up the luxury of a five-star mud spa… while one has decided everyone needs a shower! 💦

Mud, splashes and wiggly bums — just another day in piggy paradise! 🐽

🐷❤️ Little hands, big hearts, and lots of happy animals! ❤️🐮

What a wonderful day we had welcoming the Bronberg Voortrekkers – Team Kwaggas to Pigs ’n’ Paws! 🥰

The children had such a lovely time meeting our piggies, spending time with our donkeys, cows and dogs, and giving everyone lots of love and attention! 🐷🐴🐮🐶

Our piggies were especially spoiled with lots of yummy snacks and plenty of scratches from the brushes each child brought along!

🐽💕 Talk about being treated like royalty!

A huge thank you to this special group for the cat food and donation, and most importantly, the kindness and love you showed our animals. ❤️

It's always heartwarming to see young people connecting with animals and learning just how special they truly are.

Thank you, Team Kwaggas, for bringing so much love, laughter and happiness to our sanctuary!
And what a wonderful way to end the day!

🎉 Team Kwaggas treated us to their very own team cheer, filling the sanctuary with their energy, enthusiasm and team spirit! ❤️🐷

Happy Saturday from our happy little scratcher! ❤️

🎨🐷 12 preorders in. 38 to go. Let’s get this book into print! 🐷🎨

Calling all animal lovers, colour fans and grown-ups who’ve been eyeing the kids’ pencil tin, this one’s for you! ✏️

Our first Pigs ’n’ Paws colouring book features 16 real residents. Each has a colouring page, a little story and a real-life photo, so you can meet the animal behind the picture as you colour.

It’s a 20-page A4 book with thick, perforated pages. Colour your favourite resident, carefully tear out your masterpiece and give it a place of honour on the fridge. Fair warning: choosing just one favourite may be harder than staying inside the lines! 😄

This joyful project is also a fundraiser to help Pigs ’n’ Paws through the challenging November to January months. Once printing, packaging and project costs are covered, the remaining funds will support the sanctuary.

We’re at 12 preorders and need 38 more to reach the minimum of 50 paid orders for printing. Orders close 6 November 2026. If we don’t reach the target, everyone will receive a full refund to their original payment method. We’d much rather be packing books than processing refunds!

R290 per book + R87 courier per parcel.

Please order through the website so we can keep every preorder properly recorded and manage any refunds easily if needed:

There’s something so special about the way animals accept one another.
Chic-Chic feels right at home on Bobby’s back, and Bobby is so relaxed in her company that he eventually flops down on his side.
A little friendship, a lot of trust, and a lovely reminder that kindness can cross every boundary. ❤️

Your old things could help fill a piggy’s tummy. 🐷💗
If you’d love to support Pigs ’n’ Paws but aren’t able to make a monetary donation, there’s another way you can make a real difference.
We gladly accept good-quality second-hand items that can be resold — clothing, shoes, kitchenware, household items and more.
The money raised from selling these items goes straight back into caring for and feeding our animals. 🐾🐷
Because of the cost of fuel, unfortunately we’re unable to collect individual donations.
We do, however, have different drop-off points where you can leave your items, and we’ll collect them together from there.
📱 WhatsApp 068 689 0431 to find your most convenient drop-off point.
Something you no longer need could become food in a piggy’s bowl. 💗🐷
Small donations really can make a big difference.

🐷🎨 Colour a page. Meet a real Pigs ’n’ Paws resident. Help care for them.

We’re so proud and excited to launch our first Pigs ’n’ Paws Colouring Book, created with love for the animals who call our sanctuary home.

Inside, you’ll meet 16 real residents. Each has their own colouring page, a short story and a real-life photo, so you can discover the personality behind the picture as you colour.

It’s a joyful book for children and grown-ups, with thick, sturdy pages that are perforated so you can carefully tear out your finished artwork and display it at home.

We hope it brings you a happy moment of creativity and a special connection with the animals in its pages. It also helps Pigs ’n’ Paws through the challenging months ahead, keeping bowls full and bills paid. Once printing, packaging and project costs are covered, the remaining funds will support the sanctuary.

We need at least 50 paid preorders for the book to go to print. Orders close 6 November 2026 at 20:00. If we don’t reach 50, everyone who has paid will receive a full refund.
