A new year, and the same old Brak River Challenge we’ve come to love.

Mark your calendars for 14–15 February and join us for two days of excellent river paddling, great food, and warm Cradock hospitality, hosted by the Fish River Canoe Club.

The main race will be for K2s, but K3s and K1s are also welcome. To celebrate the month of love, a special prize will be awarded to the winners of the mixed doubles category.

🚣‍♂️ Brak River Challenge 2025 – What a Weekend! 🌊☀️🍻

The Brak River Challenge delivered yet another unforgettable race! 44 paddlers took on the two-day adventure, battling it out on a river that treated us to great water levels and perfect weather. 🌞💦

Of course, no race weekend is complete without good food, ice-cold beers, and great company—and as always in the Karoo, this year did not disappoint! 🍔🍻 A huge thank you to everyone who participated, supported, and made this event so special.

A special shoutout to Carbonology Sport for supplying their trailer full of Cruise plastics for competitors to use! 🚣‍♂️👏
