Our Movie Day Fundraiser is happening today at the Sakhisizwe Community Project (Clermont Youth Centre) Studio. 🎬🍿

It’s great to see young people and community members coming together to enjoy movies while supporting a good cause. All proceeds from today’s fundraiser will go towards purchasing additional classroom equipment and office supplies.

Please Join us for our first fundraiser, a movie day event to be held at the auditorium hall near Sizakala offices in Clermont, KZN, on Monday, the 30th of March.

Admission is R10, which includes a movie ticket, there will be popcorn, various sweets,cupcakes and more for sale.

Proceeds will go towards purchasing additional classroom equipment and office supplies.

Today we gathered not just to talk about love, but to redefine it.

Through honest conversations, powerful reflections, and courageous engagement, our young people explored what it truly means to build healthy relationships, in friendships, families, romantic spaces, and within our community.

Love is not control.
Love is not fear.
Love is respect, boundaries, accountability, and safety.

We are proud of every young person who showed up, participated, and chose growth. The conversations we started today do not end in this hall they continue in schools, homes, and everyday choices.

A heartfelt thank you to our speakers, partners, educators, and community leaders who made this impactful programme possible. Together, we are shaping a generation that understands that real love uplifts and empowers.

YOUTH INSPIRED THROUGH POWERFUL CONVERSATIONS ON LEADERSHIP AND GROWTH

Sodwana Bay – 25 June 2025

The second day of the eThekwini North Youth Leadership Camp kicked off with impactful conversations, as young people immersed themselves in sessions centered around leadership and personal growth.

Sakhisizwe Community Project, in partnership with the Department of Social Development, led thought-provoking dialogues that encouraged youth to reflect on their roles in shaping their communities and futures. The sessions created a safe and open space for participants to express their visions, challenges, and ideas for positive change.

As the camp continues, we remain committed to nurturing confident, purpose-driven young leaders ready to make a difference.
