At the Nnete Foundation, students have started the 2025 academic year, and it was encouraging to hear from two of our students.
Firstly, Matseleng Borane, 14 completed Grade 8 last year at Clarens Combined and reported some excellent results. She obtained 5 certificates, including 1st place in Social Sciences, Life Orientation and Natural Sciences and 3rd place in English. Overall, she achieved 3rd place in Grade 8 which is a wonderful achievement.
Committing herself to study at Nnete last year has helped her with subjects that she has been having some struggles with, namely Maths and Geography. Having a well-equipped classroom with access to study materials and tuition and internet access using one of the donated laptops available at the Foundation, has been significant in helping Matseleng with her studies and we wish her great success in Grade 9. Her wish is to enter the medical field once she has completed her studies.
Well done on your achievements last year, Matseleng, and continue the hard work!
