Child Protection Week | 29 May 2026
Our team went door‑to‑door in Riemvasmaak, Klawer to raise awareness about the safety and wellbeing of our children.
We engaged with 58 community members — 18 adolescents and 40 adults — sharing important messages on:

Safety of children

Rights and responsibilities of children

Standing together to stop bullying

We also distributed pamphlets to strengthen the message and empower families with knowledge.
Every child deserves to feel safe, heard and protected.

On 21 May 2026, the CMAN Graafwater team conducted an outreach at the Graafwater Elderly Club, followed by door‑to‑door visits to elderly clients who are unable to travel.

A total of 9 influenza vaccinations were administered, along with 13 blood pressure tests and 13 HGT tests.

Our health talks focused on how to protect yourself against colds and flu, and we shared simple home remedies with clients to support their wellbeing.

Together, we continue building a healthier community.

On 19 May 2026, the CMAN Graafwater team hosted an outreach in Leipoldville at the Spioenkop potato store. A total of 11 community members were reached.

Our health talks focused on TB and HIV, and every person received a blood pressure check, weight check, and HGT test.
We also completed 3 HIV tests and provided 9 HIV self‑testing kits.

Together we build healthier communities, one outreach at a time.

🌍 Today is World TB Day – 24 March 2026
Theme: “Yes! We Can End TB!”
The Cederberg Matzikama Aids Network (CMAN) Loeriesfontein Team proudly hosted a TB Awareness event right here in our community!
We came together to raise awareness about tuberculosis, promote early screening, share prevention tips, and encourage everyone to get tested and treated. TB is preventable and curable – together we can end it!
