We celebrated an unforgettable Women’s Day in partnership with Cederberg Farming, honouring the incredible women who form the heart of this community. 💛🌿

Our courageous guest speaker shared her powerful journey of overcoming sexual violence, reminding us of the strength found in healing and resilience.
Tanya Ludick inspired everyone with her message on self‑care and the importance of choosing yourself first.
Michelle Cloete lifted the energy with her dynamic and uplifting capacitor session, filling the room with motivation and joy.
We were also treated to a beautiful dance performance by the daughters of Cederberg Farming, adding grace and pride to the celebration.

CMAN Citrusdal staff brought BIG smiles and even bigger heart to Mandela Day! 💛✨
As part of their 67 Minutes project, our amazing team handed out vouchers to children from the Middelpos Psych Support Group. 🎁👧👦
These vouchers helped the kids spoil themselves buy getting some goodies from local stores like Ackermans — a small act that made a HUGE difference! 🛍️😊

Our team completed a successful HIV Testing & Adherence (HTA) outreach at Tienrivier Farm, bringing essential health services directly to the community.

Services provided included:
• HIV testing
• Syphilis testing and screening
• TB screening and testing
• Blood pressure checks
• Blood glucose checks
• Male & female reproductive health screening
• Family planning support
• Male and female condom distribution

**Children Protection Week 2026**
On Monday, 2 June, the CMAN team and some partners visited Babble and Krabbel ECD Centre in Citrusdal to highlight the importance of protecting and nurturing our children.

This meaningful outreach was made possible through the collaboration of:
• BADISA Citrusdal
• Cederberg Municipality
• Community Development Workers (CDWs)

Together, we continue to raise awareness and strengthen the message that "every child deserves safety, care, and protection."

Child Protection Week | 29 May 2026
Our team went door‑to‑door in Riemvasmaak, Klawer to raise awareness about the safety and wellbeing of our children.
We engaged with 58 community members — 18 adolescents and 40 adults — sharing important messages on:

Safety of children

Rights and responsibilities of children

Standing together to stop bullying

We also distributed pamphlets to strengthen the message and empower families with knowledge.
Every child deserves to feel safe, heard and protected.

On 21 May 2026, the CMAN Graafwater team conducted an outreach at the Graafwater Elderly Club, followed by door‑to‑door visits to elderly clients who are unable to travel.

A total of 9 influenza vaccinations were administered, along with 13 blood pressure tests and 13 HGT tests.

Our health talks focused on how to protect yourself against colds and flu, and we shared simple home remedies with clients to support their wellbeing.

Together, we continue building a healthier community.
