Rafe is a distinguished 10-year-old senior gentleman—a black and white Tuxedo cat with a unique charm all of his own. From his soft, cotton-wool white paws to his cream-dipped moustache, he cuts quite a striking figure.

While he may be a little reserved at first, once he feels comfortable his affectionate nature shines through. He enjoys quiet moments outdoors within a catio, basking in the gentle breeze and watching the world go by.

Life has been difficult for him lately. His beloved human has fallen ill, and his home has become a place of sadness and change. Now he finds himself in need of a fresh start with a new forever human who can offer him warmth and stability. He has been in the company of a small dog and other cats. He has also been sterilised and tested negative for both FIV and FELV, so is healthy and ready to begin this new chapter.

Rafe is a wonderful boy living in the absolute safety of a fully enclosed outdoor habitat, and he is looking for a home that can match this level of security. Because local wildlife like caracals pose a severe threat in the area, Rafe is no longer allowed to safely roam free. For his own protection, he is strictly not allowed outside of a secure structure during the day or night.
Adoption Requirements include:
Strict Enclosure Policy: Must live entirely indoors or have access to a completely enclosed, predator-proof catio.
No Free Roaming: Absolutely no unsupervised outdoor roaming, day or night.
Safety First: Applicants must demonstrate how they will secure Rafe from local wildlife.

If you feel a connection with him, if his story touches your heart, and if you believe you could offer him the loving home he deserves, please reach out and WhatsApp Morag on 083 489 9963. Home checks will be arranged to ensure a perfect match.

Thank you for taking the time to read his story. I am hopeful that his next chapter will be filled with peace, love, and the gentle purr of contentment.

Let me introduce you to a truly special feline companion named Julian—an eight-year-old semi-senior gentleman whose quiet grace and gentle spirit are sure to capture your heart.

Julian is a handsome biscuit tabby and white cat with subtle cinnamon undertones in his coat, giving him a uniquely warm and distinguished appearance. He is the kind of cat who finds comfort in the softest corners of a home—particularly draped over the arm of a cozy chair, where he can be close to his human while enjoying his surroundings.

Though initially shy, Julian is far from aloof. He is a quiet, gentle soul who thrives on calm companionship. He enjoys spending time outdoors within the catio, exploring safely, and at night, he is more than content to be a warm, comforting presence on his human’s bed. His demeanor is peaceful, and he gets along well with other cats, making him a harmonious addition to a multi-cat household.

Julien’s life has been recently upended due to his owner falling ill, and he is now in urgent need of a new forever home. He has previously lived with a small dog, so he may adapt well to a home with a calm canine companion, though a proper introduction would be necessary.

Julian thrives in a life of complete comfort and protection, and he is looking for a new home that can maintain this high standard of security. Because local wildlife—particularly Caracals—pose a severe threat in the area, Julian can no longer roam free. For his own safety, he must remain strictly indoors or within a fully secure enclosure at all times, day and night.

Adoption Requirements include:
Strict Enclosure policy - Must live entirely in-doors or have access to a completely enclosed, predator-proof catio.
No Free Roaming - Absolutely no unsupervised outdoor roaming, day or night.
Safety First - Applicants must demonstrate how they will secure Julian from local wildlife.

For your peace of mind, Julian has been sterilized and has tested negative for both FIV and FeLV. A home check will be part of the adoption process to ensure he transitions into a safe and loving environment.

If you have been mesmerized by this beautiful, gentle boy and feel you could be his new forever human, please reach out via WhatsApp to Morag at 083 489 9963.

Thank you for considering opening your heart and home to Julian. He may be shy at first, but with patience and love, he will undoubtedly become a cherished member of your family.

Meet Miles 🐈He is a seven-year-old ginger and white gentleman of remarkable character, who is currently seeking a permanent and loving home. Miles is a cat of distinct preferences and considerable charm, best described as a "don't pick me up, but do love me" companion.

His ideal day involves supervising household activities, particularly from the bathroom, where he has established his primary residence. He is known to gently solicit attention with a well-placed paw. For those who work from home, Miles is an exemplary office assistant, offering quiet, dedicated companionship. It is important to understand his boundaries; he is not a cat who accepts unwanted handling and will defend his personal space with the agility of a ninja. While he is exceptionally gentle with people, his tolerance for other feline companions is limited.

Miles's current situation is the result of a traumatic upheaval in his home life, as his owner has become seriously ill. He is in urgent need of a stable, forever environment. Due to his clear preference for being the sole feline in a household, he would thrive in a one-cat or no-cat home.

Miles enjoys a life of luxury and complete protection! and he is searching for a home that can match his current level of security. Due to local wildlife risks like Caracals, Miles cannot roam free. For his own safety, he requires a strictly indoor lifestyle or access to a fully enclosed exterior habitat day and night.

Adoption Requirements include:
Strict Enclosure policy - Must live entirely in-doors or have access to a completely enclosed, predator proof catio.
No Free Roaming - Absolutely no unsupervised outdoor roaming, day or night.
Safety First - Applicants must demonstrate how they will secure Miles from local wildlife.

He is fully sterilized and has tested negative for both FIV and FeLV.

If you are captivated by this description and believe you can provide the quiet, respectful, and loving forever home that Miles deserves, please do not hesitate to WhatsApp Morag at 083 489 9963.

Say hello to a truly special feline named Levi, a four-year-old, gorgeously fluffy bush child who is sure to capture the heart of any cat lover.

Levi is a gentle soul who spends most of his time outdoors within a catio, embodying the spirit of a lover rather than a fighter. He enjoys quiet moments and tends to keep to himself, but when shown affection, he responds with deep, rumbling purrs—like a well-tuned V8 engine. In the right environment, particularly one with fewer competing cats, Levi would thrive as a devoted companion, especially for someone who appreciates the beauty of outdoor spaces and quiet companionship.

Sadly, Levi’s world has been turned upside down by his owner’s illness, leaving him in urgent need of a new, loving forever home.

Levi would do best in a one-cat household and has previously coexisted peacefully with a small dog.

Having known a life of absolute comfort and safety, Levi needs a home committed to keeping him secure. Local wildlife, including Caracals, present a real danger in the area, meaning Levi can no longer be a free-roaming pet. To ensure his continued well-being, he must live entirely within a secure structure or protected enclosure, both day and night.

Adoption Requirements include:
Strict Enclosure policy - Must live entirely in-doors or have access to a completely enclosed, predator proof catio.
No Free Roaming - Absolutely no unsupervised outdoor roaming, day or night.
Safety First - Applicants must demonstrate how they will secure Levi from local wildlife

For your peace of mind, Levi has been sterilized and tested negative for both FIV and FELV.

If this beautiful, loving boy has stolen your heart and you’d like to welcome him into your life, please reach out to Morag via WhatsApp at 083 489 9963. Home checks will be conducted to ensure Levi finds the safe, nurturing environment he deserves.

Thank you for considering giving Levi the forever home he so deeply needs. With his gentle nature and loving spirit, he promises to bring warmth and joy to your days.

The Probiotic Yeast That Helps Dogs with Chronic Gut Problem💩

Saccharomyces boulardii is a beneficial yeast, not a bacteria, that acts like a temporary support crew for the gut. Used in people, dogs, and cats, it helps manage diarrhea and chronic digestive issues with anti-inflammatory and anti-toxin effects.

Unlike bacterial probiotics, which antibiotics often kill, S. boulardii is naturally resistant, so it can be safely given alongside antibiotics to reduce common digestive side effects like diarrhea and gut imbalance.

In a peer-reviewed, double-blinded, placebo-controlled study, dogs with chronic digestive disease showed improvement within just two weeks of receiving S. boulardii. By six to eight weeks, they were doing noticeably better than dogs on standard treatment alone, showing the probiotic helps speed and enhance recovery.

Unlike harmful yeasts, S. boulardii is non-pathogenic and does not cause yeast infections. It temporarily colonizes the gut, supports stool consistency, reduces diarrhea, and is naturally cleared from the body once treatment stops, essentially a “friendly visitor” for gut health.

That’s why Dr. Becker included S. boulardii in PRIMITIVE PROBIOTICS™, a science-driven blend of probiotic strains designed to improve stool quality, support gut barrier integrity, and reduce inflammation.

🐈 🐈 💞STERRIE ‘AT LAST ON WEDNESDAY’ UPDATE DAY🐈 🐈 💞

🐕 💞Chatsworth in the Swartland – 10th December 2025🐕 💞

🐕 Neuter for a sweeter future.🐕 💞 Spay today, cherish forever 🐕 🐕 💞

🐈 🐈 💞 Two gorgeous ‘”oh so quiet” female kitty munchkins called Luna and Coco 🐈 🐈 💞 and four strapping sweet friendly doggos Sport, Lolla, Blacky and James 🐕 🐕 🐕 🐕 🐕 💞

💞🐶 Luna came with a shovel in her paws, as she tried to dig to Cairo through the newspaper beneath her. After she had read the very boring Ads Section, she continued to let fly paper bombs to show her thoughts on the whole car journey 🐈 🐈 💞 All went well though and no cats were lost 🐈 🐈 💞,

💞🐶🐶 Sweet little boy, Sport and Lolla, our only female doggo for the day, were simply the best. 🐕 🐕 In fact Lolla was so cool that she decided to catch up on some well- earned beauty sleep on the journey back. Blacky was full of smiles and big fluffy James, we hope will give up his love of running in the street for more home time💞🐶🐶

💞🐶🐶 It was an awesome run with a super outcome as no extra meds were required for anyone, there were no unwanted pregnancies to be terminated and there were no wounds on the vet to bandage 💞🐶🐶

💞🐶🐶Thank you again Chatsworth community members for bringing your pets to be sterilized. It’s one simple procedure with endless benefits. It's your responsibility, sterilize humanity.

🫶🫂Gratitude and a request for support for Bubbles🫶🙏🐶

❤️Amazing supporters and friends❤️

A huge thank you to Monica of Star Animal Project for enabling Bubbles from Skarrelfontein to receive medical treatment after being savagely mauled by another dog.😭 The owner reached out to Jade and then we all became involved.🙌The wounds are much worse than they appear in the photos 😬and the vet bill is sadly high (bill thus far attached). 😩

Bubbles will be going back to Bergzicht Diere Hospitaal for a follow up and the removal of the drains soon.

If anyone can please make even a small payment into Monica's Bergzicht account it would be really appreciated. See Account attached.🙏🙏

🐕 🐕 🐈 🐈 💞STERRIE WEDNESDAY BECAME A BAKING HOT THURSDAY UPDATE 🐕 🐕 🐈 🐈 💞

🐕 💞Chatsworth in the Swartland – 27th November 2025🐕 💞

🐕 💞 Save the paws, serve the creature, save the humanity🐕 💞 Dog kisses are the only happiness in life 🐕 💞

🐕 🐕 💞 🐕 🐕 Today we had four doggos and three kitty cats 🐈 🐈 💞 🐈

💞🐶 Luna, a very cute little lady Jack Russel was very much a mommy’s girl. Lifting her lip to show her teeth, she made it very clear to Monica that touching was on her terms. Then when she was dropped off, she became daddy’s girl, as upon seeing him she couldn’t get out of the carrier fast enough😄

Brunette and Spikey, both gorgeous female terrier mixes from the same household, were extremely nervous and not sure of what was going on. They were overjoyed when the day was over and we were overjoyed that they had become “Ladies without Babies” 💞🐶

Spikey did try to abandon ship but Monica had her leash on, so the only thing that escaped was a huge sigh of relief🤭

Absolutely gorgeous Lady dog Blue and “cute as a button” tom cat, Tom, were same household siblings and they both joined the “Ladies without Babies” and “Balls Must Fall” teams 💞🐶

💞🐶 Tequila, the lady, not the drink🤪 and Lucifer, a male cat, not Satan👿 were our last two kitty cats. 🐈 🐈 💞 and, boy oh boy, Lucifer gave new meaning to cats choir🎤📣🎶😹 this was not a serenade of love but a stream of very loud protestations of ‘how dare you’s’ 🐈 🐈 💞they rode in the front seat with Monica so she got the full blast 🐈 🐈 💞

💞🐶🐶 Help us to save the human’s best friend 💞🐶🐶

🐕 💞Chatsworth – 21st November 2025🐕 💞

Our "Steri Wednesday" sterilization program was another “Fab Friday” and went enormously well.😁

Our numbers for the day were 4 dogs🐕🐕 🐕🐕and 4 cats 🐈‍⬛🐈🐈🐈‍⬛but one of the doggo’s looked a little “green”🤢, but he came along just in case it was only the heat☺️sadly it wasn’t, but gladly we saved him on time😀the poor boy had biliary😐but after an injection💉 and meds💊, Rockstar Rambo will bark another day😂 VERY HAPPY DAY!!! His balls will fall in January 2026

🐕 💞 Langbene, the street dog, was the other male doggo who also needed some TLC along with his sterrie🙂 we noticed a swelling on his paw that turned out to be an abcess, so he had a clean-up and meds💊 and yay!! Another ‘happy day” dance😄

Stompie and Roxy were the two lady dogs to join our furry friends in the fight against the cycle of suffering👊💪 both were really well behaved sweet little darlings even though Stompie decided that the handle of the box was a good chew toy 🤣

Now onto the kitty cats 🐱🐱🐱🐱

Three lady queens, Sokkies, Skowe and Mockels, and a Tom boy called Survivor 🐱 one of the lady’s did have a bun in the oven but not for long as we humanely made the choice to end any suffering before it started☺️

Stompies, Roxy, Rambo, Mockels and Survivor all came from the same household🏠 and Skowe and Sokkies are together as well🏠, so we are super proud of their owners for reaching out. Langbene was our homeless odd one out but is still loved and fed by our street angels.😇😇

It was an exceptionally wonderful day as no courageous canines or furry felines escaped their carriers😄 everyone was super chilled, there was no ripping of humans or vets, there was no screaming from the kitties and we want to thank Amazing Adri Angel 😇who sponsored the sterries for the day and who also feeds the street dogs in Chatsworth😘What a blessing you are🙏🫂And you too, passionate paw parents in being proactive and showing the love for your furry companions🥰🤩

🐶🐱 please look closely at the poster attached and make sure that your pet is protected over the Festive Season🎅🤶🎄

Be part of our team and continue to help us end the cycle of suffering by sterilising your pets😘🫶🤞🙏

We are running very low on funds though and are appealing to paw parents and pet lovers for a donation towards assisting us in making an impact. Any amount will be gladly received.

🐕 🐕 🐕 🐕 🐈 💞STERRIE WEDNESDAY/FRIDAY WENT DOWN LIKE A DREAM UPDATE 🐕 🐕 🐕 🐕 🐈 💞

🐕 💞Chatsworth in the Swartland – 17th October 2025🐕 💞

🐕 💞"Spay Today, Save Lives Tomorrow"🐕 💞Neuter for a sweeter future. 💞

🐕 💞 Thank you 🐈Thank You 🐈 Thank You 🐈 Sigrid Remembrance Fund for donating yet again towards our mission to stop the cycle of suffering that leads to unwanted litters, pet overpopulation and neglect. 🐕 💞

🐈 🐈 🐈 🐕 🐕 🐕 🐕 💞 Today we had 4 doggos and 3 cats – All gals……..All Glory

💞 🐈 What can we say!!! Tommy, a gal kitty with a guy’s name, had kittens in August and was now ready to join “Ladies Without Babies” 🐈Thank you paw parents for doing the right thing 🐈Oreo, our sweet biscuit, was treated to a de-flea session as well as the spay and lastly there was Wh**ey who was nearly a no-show but delivered in time💞 🐈

🐈 Thank you to all the paw parents for doing the right thing 🐈 Spay today, cherish forever. 💞

🐕 🐕 🐕 🐕 Victoria, Nova, Shelby and Meisie were our doggo’s of the day 💞 All the ladies were picture perfect with Victoria being rather timid but sweet and trusting, Nova, a lovely sweetheart who also scored a de-flea session; Shelby, a super sweet long legged lass and Meisie, sadly she was already pregnant but safe enough to terminate, so although frowned upon by many we opted to end the cycle of suffering before it may have started. Termination of a pregnancy is not something we do willingly and we consider all the options. Are the owners able to care for a litter of puppies? Does the female dog have any pre-existing medical conditions? Will she pass on any inherited health problems? And ultimately our desire to prevent unwanted breeding and reduce the number of dogs in shelters and on the streets 🐕 🐕 🐕 🐕 💞

💞 What a treat and what a pleasure of a day, even though Friday is not an ideal day for a sterrie run as most people are tired and Monica was solo angel , but just one simple procedure with endless benefits was performed on 7 furry friends that will improve their lives and create a better future for them🐕 💞 Less fur kids, more love.

🐈 🐕 🐕 💞 Better lives start with fewer litters. 💞🐱Give them the life they deserve. 🐈💞,
