WJC IS WORRIED ..The bad feeling we had about the Ceres Junction Shopping Centre was CONFIRMED...These are not honest people.Bemcorp/ Red Caviar Holdings vertel baie LEUENS. For the past months WJC and public transport have tried to have discussions in GOOD FAITH. For that past week there had been several attacks.Today we were informed another piece of Infrastructure will be demolish.WJC has no other option but to occupy the space,currently here is 3 families living in this building, now they want to demolish it without any alternatives. WJC is also not convince the BELLA VISTA TAXI RANK IS SAFE..We call upon all small business owners to act and PROTECT THEIR BUSINESS. We can not allow that one business replace almost 30 small businesses.As women we are worried about the small fruit and vegetables business of a local woman from Bella Vista.They are going to demolish her small business aswell. WITZENBERG,NOW IS THE TIME TO UNITE...CERES JUNCTION IS GOING TO DEMOLISH US ALL.WE CALL UPON UNITY...ALUTA CONTINUA

Women in Witzenberg Are UNDER ATTACK...VROUE IN WITZENBERG WORD AANGEVAL. While a secret private property developer has found his way into Ceres and in due time will become very rich...is daar vroue in Witzenberg wat baie swaar trek.While the developer is planning to make huge profits on property deals there are mothers from Vredebes who still fights for scholar transport for their children and almost 600 women from Bella Vista expressed their anger and dissapointment towards the Witzenberg Municipality with regards to access to their public transport site.They demand the Bella Vista Taxi Rank to keep its current location.A strong message will be send out to the Witzenberg Municipality, the private developer and the business chamber on 6 February 2025.Women of Witzenberg are tired.Tired of people that make decisions on their behalf and without them.Property in Witzenberg relates to LAND and WEALTH, and is it evident that on the one side we have extreme wealth, on the other hand we have extreme poverty✊🏾

WJC...if we Keep on ORGANISING WE CAN WIN..AS ONS AANHOU ORGANISEER KAN WEN. A couple of weeks ago we were only 8 poeple on the piece of land in Vos street,this land was sold to a developer outside Ceres with no participation of the locals BUT we have kept on Organising.Should this development proceed it will replace almost 30 small business.Another aggravating factor,due to the construction women from the local areas have lost their employment.They will now need to go and stand in long ques at the Departement of Labour.Last night almost 180 concerned communities members gathered in one space.The issue on the table is LAND and the un-equal distribution of WEALTH in Witzenberg .This piece of land have historic valley to almost every household in Witzenberg. Dit blyk asof elke huishouding n konnetasie het aan hierdie grond,now a developer wants to make profit.WJC will be joining the local businesses every evening with their silent demostration.WE CALL UPON UNITY, WE CALL UPON COMMUNUTIES MEMBERS FOR SUPPORT.

PUBLIC ALERT....PUBLIC ALERT

LEARNER TRANSPORT FOR CHILDREN FROM VREDEBES IS STILL A CRISIS

WJC is grateful for the quick intervention from the local mayor on Wednesday, 15 January 2025 for learners from Morrisdale and Ceres Primary who resides in Vredebes. But this also confirms the failure by his consticeuncy. Tempory transport cannot be the answer for this crisis. WJC was contacted by parents from the Wolseley area yesterday whereby they confirmed children from farms are walking more than 5 kilometers to school, yet NO SCHOOL BUS.MEC Davier Manier refuse to look at the appeal from the parents of Vredebes which was submitted for his attention in early December already.

WJC has given the WC Departement of Education until today,20 January 2025 till 16h00 to respond.

Should the WC Departement of Education fail to respond, WJC will reconvene with the broader WITZENBERG

WJC will continue to mobilise, to organise and to Resist. Yesterday,15 January 2025 mothers had no other option but to make their struggle to main road of Ceres. Since August 2024 mothers of Vredebes has been resisting the uni-lateral decision of the WC Departement of Education, learner transport of their children has been cancelled. For a couple of minutes yesterday morning primary school learners, mothers and parents and no other but to sit in the mainroad as part of demonstrating their frustrations. While parents were fighting for learner transport, SAPS Ceres was busy getting more man power, infact they started to threaten parents. In record time the energy sector got involve and was a bus facilitated by the mayor to take the children back to Vredebes. This morning,16 January 2025 children from Morrisdale and Ceres Primary were transported by a contracted bus which will be paid by the energy sector.WJC and parents from Vredebes are awaiting feedback from our appeal which is currently MEC David Manier

Huge Victory for the Parents of Wanganella Primary....the rights of their children has been restored. All outstanding bus debt of 2024 has been written off and childen who has been on the bus the previous year can return to Wanganella Primary tomorrow morning...GREAT VICTORY TO THE PARENTS...

WJC will continue to Mobilise, to organise and to resist. Within 3 days schools all over the country will re-open,some parents who are fortuanate enough will take their children to the over resourced,well equiped,small class number schools in Witzenberg while some less fortuanate children will need to stay at home simple because their mothers cannot afford private taxi fair and some children will need to walk in this heat.This speaks about the inequality in Witzenberg.Sadly enough,the mothers that are now suffering is also the mothers who creates the WEALTH in Witzenberg.As factory, seasonal and farmworkers they will never taste the wealth their labour produces.While the Witzenberg Municipality secretively facilitated a new shopping complex which aim to start 1 February 2025 in Ceres,are there more 300+ mothers who are worried.The WC Departement of Education has cancelled scholar transport for learners.Since Monday parents went to the development site highlighting.."WE NEED SCHOOL BUSSES NOT A NEW BUSINESS

WJC is WORRIED.It isJanuary 2025 and almost 400 children still does not have access to Morrisdale,Ceres,Wanganella, TJG ,Mount Rouge and Drosdy Primary.Another shock was on 18 December 2024 when WJC and Bella Vista Taxi Owners were told off "a" development that will start from 1 February 2025.Ceres Town will get ANOTHER type of shopping centre.BUT this is a new type of Development.This DEVELOPMENT will replace the existing Bella Vista Taxi rank and taxi owners and are there NO ALTERNATIVES-Die Bella Vista Taxi Rank gaan opgekap word en word verbruikers van publieke vervoer in hulle eie genade oorgelaat,11 Workers from Jet Stores has been retreched,we got reason to believe it is mostly women, workers from another store is unsure about their future,all that they now is that the shopowner has started to talk about UI 19(UIF)forms. Another almost 15 workers affected.WJC has no option but to reach out to parents from Vredebes as a matter of urgentcy.. BEFORE BUSINESS BEFORE PROFIT✊🏾
