Young people understanding the Criminal Justice Value Chain is key to building safer communities and informed citizens. Through our programmes, we are actively educating learners on how the Criminal Justice system works, from policing, courts, and prosecution to correctional services.
A core part of our approach is experiential learning. Learners are given the opportunity to step into real-life environments such as attending court proceedings, participating in mock court sessions, and visiting Correctional Facilities to gain first-hand insight into prison life. These experiences help bridge theory and reality, making learning practical, impactful, and memorable.
In Quarter 1, we implemented the Communities and Justice Programme across 8 schools in 8 provinces, reaching over 800 learners. This is about more than education, it is about empowering young people with knowledge, awareness, and the ability to contribute meaningfully to crime prevention and justice in their communities.
