This Christmas, let’s be the reason someone smiles. ✨

The Taking Hands Foundation is spreading a little extra love, hope and dignity this festive season by bringing personalised Christmas boxes to vulnerable children and elderly residents. 🎁❤️

You can get involved in two simple ways:
🎁 Pack a Christmas Box with thoughtful gifts and essentials
❤️ Donate a Christmas Box valued at R300–R350 and our volunteers will do the rest.

Every box is more than just a gift — it’s a reminder that someone cares, someone remembers, and someone believes they are worth celebrating. 🥹✨

Let’s come together and make this Christmas a little brighter for someone who needs it most. ❤️

We are excited to announce that our Colour Run has been rescheduled and will now take place on 14 November 2026 at The Monument!

Firstly, we would like to thank everyone for your understanding and support following the postponement due to the adverse weather conditions. Your safety remains our top priority, and we look forward to welcoming you for a fun-filled day of colour, laughter, and community spirit.

🌈 What you need to know: ✅ All previously purchased tickets remain valid. ✅ Event details and start times remain unchanged unless otherwise communicated. ✅ Tickets will still be available for purchase online and at the event.

We can't wait to see everyone covered in colour and making unforgettable memories together!

We can’t wait to welcome you to the Voortrekker Monument for a day filled with colour, fun, laughter, and community spirit!
☀️ The weather is looking great, so get ready to bring your energy and your spring spirit!

✅ Remember:🚗 Bring your online car pass and driver’s licence for the security checkpoint.
💳 No pre-purchased car pass? Parking is available at the gate for R30 per vehicle.
💳 Please note that all payments at the entrance gate are CARD ONLY. No cash payments will be accepted.
🎟️ Forgot to buy your Colour Run ticket online? No problem! Tickets will be available at our sales table on the day.
👕 Collect your Colour Run T-shirt, thank-you gift, and colour powder bag at our collection point.
🎨 Additional T-shirts, colour powder bags, and squeeze bottles will also be available for purchase.
💪 Enjoy an energetic warm-up led by Carmi from True Grit.

Baie geluk met jou verjaarsdag! Vandag vier ons nie net jou lewe nie, maar ook die ongelooflike verskil wat jy in soveel kinders se lewens maak. Jou hart vir kinders, jou toewyding en die visie waarmee jy Gracia Child and Youth Care Centre begin het, is ’n ware seën vir elke kind wat deur julle deure stap.

Dankie vir die liefde, omgee en hoop wat jy elke dag saai. Jou werk raak lewens aan en laat ’n nalatenskap wat nog vir jare vrug sal dra.

Van ons by Taking Hands Foundation wil ons jou bedank vir die voorreg om saam met jou te kan werk en deel te wees van die mooi werk wat daar gedoen word. Dit beteken baie vir ons om ’n bydrae te kan maak en saam hande te vat om ’n verskil te maak.
