Founded in 2023 by Ali and Leonard van Antwerpen, our mission is simple yet powerful: to raise funds and awareness for children struggling with eye conditions and to promote the importance of early eye testing, starting as young as three years old. Ali, one of our co-founders, knows firsthand the challenges of living with Stargardt's disease. Despite losing her central vision, she remains a dynamic businesswoman and an avid runner. Her positive outlook on life and determination to help others inspire everything we do here at A Eye Foundation. The name "A Eye" has profound meaning for us. It symbolizes a singular focus on a brighter future for every child. We envision a world where every child has the opportunity to see and experience the world clearly. Our goal is to provide the necessary financial support for vision aids and treatments while spreading the word about the critical importance of early eye testing.
