PPCOSA OFFICIALLY LAUNCHED | 05 February 2026

The Progressive Professionals Council of Southern Africa (PPCOSA) was officially launched on 5 February 2026, marking a defining moment in our collective journey.

The launch, held under the theme “Beyond the Title: Professionals as Stewards of Economic and Social Transformation,” challenged us to reflect on our responsibility as professionals, not only as experts in our respective fields, but as custodians of progress, ethical leadership, and inclusive development.

The strong turnout on the day was a clear reflection of the shared commitment by members and prospective members to build an organisation rooted in purpose, impact, and sustainability.

We extend our sincere appreciation to our guest speaker, Dr Sibusiso Reuben Bakana, for blessing the launch and delivering an inspiring address that resonated deeply with the theme and motivated our members to lead beyond titles and positions.

We also congratulate the newly elected National Council (NC) and thank the membership for the confidence placed in this leadership to advance the PPCOSA vision.

As PPCOSA, we move forward with renewed purpose committed to driving professional excellence while contributing meaningfully to economic and social transformation.

On 17 August 2025, the Progressive Professionals Council of Southern Africa (PPCOSA) hosted its Meet & Greet Gathering at Melrose Arch, Johannesburg.
