Het jy die nuwe PWLIC 2.0 Newsletter gemis? 👀

WHY ARE RESEARCHERS INTERESTED IN LIGHT AND RECOVERY?

Your body is constantly carrying out processes involved in maintaining and repairing tissue.

Scientists are investigating whether particular light-based interventions can influence some of these biological processes.

Photobiomodulation has therefore been studied in areas such as muscle recovery and tissue-related responses.

The results depend on the specific application, and more research is needed for many proposed uses.

It's a fascinating example of how researchers continue to explore the relationship between light and biology.

Curious about near-infrared light therapy?

PROPERTY MAINTENANCE ISN'T ONLY FOR EMERGENCIES. 🏠

Some of the most useful maintenance work happens before something breaks completely.

Checking that electrical fittings are functioning properly.

Addressing a dripping tap.

Investigating recurring plumbing problems.

Having concerns about an existing gas installation assessed.

A little attention to the things keeping your property running can help prevent unnecessary disruption later.

Whether you're a homeowner, landlord or business owner, Lunica Property Management can assist with plumbing, gas and electrical work.

WHEN ONE GAS WATER HEATER MIGHT NOT BE THE BEST FIT.

Different properties have different hot-water requirements.

A small household, a larger family home and a property with multiple hot-water outlets may not all need the same solution.

In some situations, a dual gas-water-heating arrangement may be worth considering.

But adding another unit isn't automatically the answer.

The right configuration depends on the property's layout, water pressure, expected demand and suitable installation options.

De B**r Project Solutions can help you explore what makes sense for your particular requirements.

FRESH AIR, LITTLE ADVENTURES AND BIG SMILES! ☀️

There's something special about watching children explore the world around them.

Outdoor play offers opportunities to move, discover, observe and practise new skills.

It might be something as simple as noticing a bug, playing in the shade or discovering a new way to move.

For little ones, these everyday experiences are part of how they learn.

And sometimes the best moments are the simplest ones.

Wishing all our Tiny Heroes families a lovely Friday! 💜

One for the parents in our community. 💛

Earlier in the Newsletter we looked at simple everyday skills children can practise at home — things like helping prepare food, packing a bag, sorting laundry, watering plants and taking responsibility for small age-appropriate tasks.

Then, later in the issue, you'll find something practical to keep:

Our local Education & Kids Directory.

It includes Centurion options across areas such as:

📚 Tutoring
🧒 Preschools and daycare
🎓 Education and learning support
🛍 Children's products and other local services

And on the same page you'll also find the Shopping & Retail Directory — useful when you're looking for gifts, clothing, books, handmade items and other local businesses.

This is the kind of page worth saving rather than trying to remember every name.

Need something local later? Start with the Directory.

This is one of those posts to save before you need it. 😅🏠

Because the day something starts leaking, stops working, trips the power or suddenly needs repairing is usually not the day you feel like searching through 200 Facebook comments.

These pages from the PWLIC 2.0 Vendor Directory cover local Centurion businesses across:

🔧 Home, DIY & Construction
Plumbing, renovations, roofing, waterproofing, flooring, air conditioning, pools, building and maintenance.

🌱 Gardening & Environment
Landscaping and other outdoor/environmental services.

⚡ Electrical, Solar & Security
Electricians, solar providers, CCTV, alarms, armed response and related services.

🧹 Cleaning Services
Home cleaning, deep cleaning, laundry and other local options.

That's the point of the Directory:

You don't have to remember every business. You just need to remember where the list is.

Save these pages for later — and share them with someone who owns or manages a property in Centurion.
