Today Arms of Hope Community Social Welfare participated in an important online consultation with Dalberg Consultants, appointed by South32, regarding the ongoing Sugilite matter.

As Chairperson represented the voices and concerns of the communities across Joe Morolong, ensuring that our lived experiences, challenges, and expectations were clearly expressed.

These engagements are a crucial step in making sure our people are properly included, heard and respected in all processes that affect our land, our resources, and our future.

We remain committed to transparency, accountability, and true community participation.

As Arms of Hope CSW, we stand firmly behind our Municipal Manager, appointed in November 2023, who continues to serve the people of Joe Morolong Local Municipality with dedication and integrity.

Since her appointment, she has worked tirelessly to bring real change from water and electricity projects to new health centers that are transforming lives in our 188 villages and small two towns. 🌍✨

We know leadership isn’t easy, especially with limited resources and great community needs. Yet she continues to lead with transparency, vision, and courage.

We strongly reject the lies and hate being spread. She does not work alone and she has always shown commitment to accountability and service.

No one deserves to die this way.
