It is with saddened hearts that Peace United Outreach says farewell to our beloved Sis. Sophia Jantjies, a faithful and long-serving member of our church family.

Sis. Sophia was vibrant, full of life and always brought joy wherever she went. When the praises went up, you could often find her dancing before the Lord and many of us will never forget her famous, delicious scones! She shared her gifts and her love so freely.

She wasn't merely a member of Peace United Outreach she was family, and her presence will be deeply missed.

To the Jantjies family and all who loved her, we extend our heartfelt condolences. Thank you for sharing Sis. Sophia with us for so many years. May God comfort and strengthen you during this time.

Rest peacefully, dear Sis. Sophia. 🕊️
We will remember the dancing, the laughter, the scones and, most of all, the beautiful soul behind them.

Our speaker for this week is Pastor Delmain Simpson, bringing a timely Word for this season. We are also blessed to have a special guest performance by Nompumelelo Louw, who will minister through song.

Tonight is Support Group Night at Peace United Outreach.

Every week, we come together to encourage one another, carry each other's burdens, and remind each other that God is our refuge and strength.

This past Sunday we reflected on Ruth 1:19–21, where Naomi, overwhelmed by loss, said, “Don't call me Naomi (pleasant); call me Mara (bitter).” She allowed a painful season to define her identity.

Yet God wasn't finished with her story.

Naomi left Bethlehem, the “House of Bread,” because there was a famine. But while she was away, God was preparing Bethlehem for the birth of the true Bread of Life—Jesus Christ. In Ruth 4, God restored Naomi's joy through the birth of Obed, who became the father of Jesse, the father of King David, and from that very family line, Jesus, the King of Kings, was born.

Don't let your current season rename you. Your chapter 1 is not where your story ends. The same God who restored Naomi is still in the business of redemption, restoration and renewal. 🌸🙏
