Keep Andrea’s Gift Foundation Running Help Us Replace Critical Equipment! Andrea’s Gift Foundation runs almost entirely from one laptop and one cell phone. From organizing lupus awareness meetings, to coordinating with families, to keeping our donors updated — it all happens through these two devices.But we’ve hit a wall.Our cell phone is 5 years old. We’ve run out of space for contacts, photos, and the apps we use daily. Most of our work with patients and partners happens via WhatsApp and calls. Missing a call or message means someone doesn’t get the support they need.Our laptop is 4 years old and can’t keep up. It’s slow, out of storage, and at risk. In 2022, our previous laptop crashed without warning. We lost critical files, photos, and donor records. We don’t want to go through that heartbreak again.To keep serving our lupus community without interruption, we urgently need to upgrade both devices. We’ve sourced reliable, mid-range options that will last us years.

💜 In Loving Memory of Carol Palmer 💜

This is our mom, Carol Palmer. In 2015, after years of unanswered questions, mysterious pain, and the long road to finally receiving a diagnosis of SLE, what might have been devastating news to many became a moment of relief for Carol — at last, there was an answer, and with that, hope.

From that day forward, she faced lupus with incredible courage. Through countless doctor’s visits, surgeries, medications, setbacks, and unimaginable pain, she kept going. She pushed through every difficult day, not for herself, but for the people she loved.

Carol was more than a lupus warrior — she was a passionate teacher, a mentor, a guide, and a source of comfort to so many. Teaching was not just her profession; it was her calling. She poured her heart into the lives of the children she taught, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, wisdom, and love.

Even in her final months, while enduring pain few could understand, her greatest concern was the happiness of those around her. That was who Carol was — selfless, strong, and deeply loving. On the 26th 2026 of March Carol gained her wings.

Lupus may have taken her life, but it will never take the impact she made, the love she gave, or the memories she leaves behind.

Today, we honor Carol Palmer — a beautiful soul, a fierce fighter, and a reminder of why lupus awareness matters. 🦋💜

Sometimes their little bodies are fighting big battles we cannot see.

They may feel tired… sore… or different —
but they are still children who need love, patience, and understanding.

✨ They are warriors in small bodies.
