Return to Origin provides a bridge to the modern world, where community, nature, healing and conservation can co-exist, providing a solid foundation for our changing lives. We understand that when we bring our gifts to the community, the community thrives. Due to life depleting circumstances many people do not have the resources to go beyond their day to day impoverished lives. And yet amongst th
ese people are rich, brilliant souls, whose potential will never be realized, simply because they have not been seen or acknowledged. They have fallen through the cracks, because society has failed them. Return to Origins’ vision is to heal our disconnect from nature, reclaim our lineage
and preserve our heritage for our future generations. We do this through our signature program. The Indigenous Knowledge Leadership Program is our signature program and is training future leaders from within the community who show a potential to be catalysts for a better future. The program is designed to transfer maximum knowledge through a highly transformative lived experience. This is experiential learning at its best. The program offers full circle learning with nature, and heritage sites as our classroom. We also draw from a well of wisdom and knowledge. Some of our teachers include origin specialists, deep nature guides, master trackers, scientists, archaeologists, anthropologists and the indigenous people themselves. Self-help, healing and consistent mentoring all add to Return to Origins’ unique approach of transferring knowledge, ensuring lasting transformation of the individual leaders. They in turn will pass this knowledge down to identified young people in their
communities and tip the tide towards a legacy worth leaving for generations to come.
