🎩 Hats Off to a Great Year! 🎉

A look back at our successful PlumRus AGM, where we celebrated a wonderful operational year, recognised dedicated service, and expressed our appreciation to those who continue to make a difference in our community.

With music, delicious treats and plenty of reasons to celebrate, it was a lovely reminder of what we can achieve when we work together.

Thank you to our Board, management and staff for being part of the PlumRus journey! 💙

’n Boodskap van moed. ’n Standpunt van hoop. 🖤

International Day of the Older Person

💜 Some memories live in our minds. Others live in our hearts. 💜

On World Alzheimer’s Day, our Memory Garden became a beautiful place of connection as residents, families and staff gathered together for a very special picnic.

There were poems that touched the heart, music that brought smiles, family albums filled with treasured moments, laughter, stories and, of course, a few delicious treats along the way. 🌸🎶📖

For those living with dementia, memories may sometimes fade — but love never forgets.

And perhaps that is what days like this are really about: creating new moments to treasure, holding onto the memories we can, and reminding each other that every person has a story worth remembering and a heart worth celebrating. 💜

Because even when memories fade, love remains. 🌿

A little pampering goes a long way! 💕
Our residents enjoyed some special time for foot and hand care — because keeping hands and feet clean, comfortable and cared for is an important part of overall wellbeing. Sometimes it’s the simple things, done with a little extra love and attention, that make all the difference. 🥰

At PlumRus, our Women’s Month celebration was a beautiful reminder to live with HOPE — because we serve a faithful God who loves us, cares for us and walks with us through every season of life.

We were encouraged, uplifted and inspired by messages of strength, empowerment and faith, beautifully woven together through songs, testimonies and dance. 💃🎶

Through every season — the joyful ones, the challenging ones, the seasons of waiting and the seasons of flourishing — we can continue to shine.

💎 We are Diamonds of Faith, shining with grace in every season.

May this be more than a Women’s Month message.
May it be a reminder for every woman, every day:

You matter.
You are loved.
You are held.
And there is always HOPE. 🙏✨

🌸🌼 Flowers, Friendship & God’s Wonderful Creation! 🌼🌸

There are some outings that simply feed the soul — and our annual trip to the West Coast National Park to admire the spectacular spring flowers is certainly one of them! 💐

Our residents enjoyed a wonderful day filled with great companionship, delicious food, plenty of laughter and, of course, the breathtaking beauty of God’s creation. 🌿☀️

From colourful carpets of wildflowers to sharing special moments with friends, it was a beautiful reminder to slow down, take it all in and be grateful for the simple blessings around us. ❤️

Another wonderful PlumRus memory made — and we’re already looking forward to next year’s flower adventure! 🌸
