Madina Institute South Africa

Madina Institute South Africa Madina Institute South Africa is a non-profit, academic, religious teaching institution
We practice the methodology of the Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jamaa.

Our theological methods and approach, is the absolute prioritization of the Holy Qur’an and Authentic Sunnah In the name of Allah, we seek His Blessing and Assistance. All praise and gratitude is due to Allah alone. Salutations and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah and upon his companions. The distinction of the Madina Institute for Islamic Studies and Research emanates from contemplation of th

e Dīn, and its aim: to empower its students with the correct understanding and realisation about
the Book of Allah and the authentic Sunnah. Furthermore, it seeks to formulate intellectual paradigms and to develop a curriculum characterised by a balanced and moderate approach to religion. It aims to link the past with the present and endeavours to purify the nafs during the course of a Foundational Scholarship of Islamic Sciences academic programme. In this way, the Institute strives to fulfil the demands of Islamic societies in countries such as America, Canada, Europe and South Africa, wherein the Muslim population is considered a minority. The ground-breaking one-year intensive Uṣūl-ud-Dīn traditional program is designed to produce leaders, who are schooled in five foundational sciences of our Dīn.

• Qur’anic Sciences
• Sunnah Sciences
• Jurisprudential Sciences with its foundation in the Four Madhāhib
• Islamic Creed, Philosophy and Logic
• Spiritual Sciences and the Purication of the Heart
• Intensive Arabic Language – Program to negotiate Classical texts

These areas of study will prepare the student to master the Sharī‘ah Sciences and will provide opportunities for employment in various fields of teaching, Sharī‘ah consultation, Islamic centres, educational gatherings and da‘wah (calling people to Allah with insight and knowledge), if Allah Wills.

90٪ of our Students are on Student Bursaries. Help us help them by supporting the Madina Institute Student Bursary Fund

As we complete our Qur'an khatam today, the Madina Institute family humbly requests your sincere du'as for the complete and lasting shifā' of our beloved Dean, Prof. Khadija Moloi, our esteemed Mukkadam and one of the veteran strengths of our institute, Shaykh Mohammed Caloo, and our dear brother and uncle, Mansoor Parker.

We beseech Allah ﷻ, through the blessings of His Noble Book and by His Infinite Mercy, to grant them full and complete healing, restore their strength, and return them to their families and communities in the best of health, strength, and īmān.

We also make du'a for their families and loved ones, asking Allah ﷻ to grant them patience, resilience, comfort, and steadfast trust in Him during this challenging time.

O Allah, accept the tremendous good they have done, the knowledge they have shared, the lives they have touched, and the service they have rendered to Your creation. Make this trial a means of purification, elevation in rank, and a source of immense reward for them.

Young people are not only the future of the Ummah. They are a vital part of it today.

Many of the greatest figures in Islamic history were young men and women who stood alongside the Prophet ﷺ. Through their faith, sacrifice, courage, and commitment to Islām, they carried a message that transformed hearts, societies, and ultimately changed the world.

What can today's youth learn from their example?

Join us as we explore the lives and lasting impact of the young Ṣaḥābah and uncover timeless lessons for our generation.
