Growing up in the township, no one taught us about charity. When I told my mother I wanted to start one, she said "it's too stressful working with people." 10 years later... I'm still enjoying that stress. 😅

The rejections. The disappointments. Balancing a 9-5 while serving your purpose. It's tested my faith and stretched my resilience in every way. But I could never have done this alone. 🙏

There are people who aren't in prison, but their minds are behind bars. Elderly people with dementia, forgotten with no visitors. Women who've lost hope, women who no longer smile.

Beauty Behind Bars is a ministry of love — connecting women, healing women. 💗
