A huge thank you again to each and every person who supports FeedThem.

Today I feel tearful… when you see a child so grateful and happy over something as simple as a cabbage, words fall short. It’s not even something he can eat immediately—and still, his joy and gratitude are overwhelming.

It reminds me of how the Lord looks at what we may see as “little,” and yet He multiplies it into something so much bigger. Just like the five loaves and two fish, what is placed in God’s hands becomes more than enough.

We currently feed about 80 people, with some coming twice a day. The need is real, and we truly cannot do this without your help.

There are children with even greater needs, which led us to the idea of sponsoring a specific child. For R350 per month, you can help send a child to school with a lunchbox, and we will share their details with you so you can be part of their journey.

Thank you for being part of Feedthem . Bags dropped off at my front door , food donations , Bibles , toys , school stationary , school shoes donated , books and many more . So many times it is overwhelming as we can only do so much , but we also know what we do is with love and all to the Glory to God .

FeedThem…

Our mission is simple and God-given: to feed them — whoever He sends our way — first with the Word, and then with a full tummy.
For the children who desperately need Jesus, and the community of Wellington who are hungry for the Word of God and for the hope only He can give.

We want to say a heartfelt thank you for helping us. Please never think your contribution is too small; every cent becomes an opportunity for someone to see, hear, and experience the love of Christ.

The parcels dropped at my front door, the contributions we receive, and the hands that serve — each one is truly appreciated.
Our mission is big, and at times it feels overwhelming to achieve our goal without the support of our community… but together, with willing hearts, we can be the workers Jesus spoke about.

A moment worth sharing…

Today a little boy crossed my path who truly touched my heart. Standing next to my car at the robot with eyes not begging but seeking love , I handed him a card I always keep with me — a message with motivation and a biblical scripture for anyone who might need it. With the can of food and the card in his hand he smiled and walked away .

What happened next stopped me in my tracks as I keep watching him .
He immediately sat down on the sidewalk, and started reading right there. After a few moments, he looked up, smiled, and gave me the sweetest wave… and in that moment, I could see that the message meant something to him.

I once more realised how something so small can have such a big impact on someone’s life. God's Word is what is needed in this world and people are more hungry for Jesus than for bread .

Sometimes the smallest act of kindness can touch someone’s heart in the biggest way. 💛
I just wanted to share this very humbling moment with you all.

With great appreciation, we thank each and every person who made it possible to fill an empty tummy.
As you know, our Soup Challenge goal was 100 jars for July — and we ended with 1 004 jars!
That’s 4 016 meals!

We stand in awe and give all the glory and thanks to our Father in Heaven.

A Sole-Filled Blessing! 👟🧦

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to My Walk Made With Soul for their generous donation of shoes to our NPO, FeedThem.

We had the joy of distributing these shoes to children who previously had none — and the gratitude in their eyes said it all.

We are also overwhelmed with gratitude to share that we’ve received a phone call from Mia Roux from Pretoria, confirming a further donation of 200 pairs of shoes! What an incredible blessing — thank you, Mia!

These special shoes are part of an inspiring initiative by the Netcare Hospital Group, where medical waste is repurposed and transformed into shoes .

We are overflowing with gratitude. 💛

Thanks to your incredible generosity, 3,000 mouths have been fed—that’s 751 jars of soup handed out with love! 🫶

Our original goal was just 100 jars by the end of the month… and look what happened. The response has been nothing short of miraculous.

We could never have imagined this growing so quickly. The abundance, the kindness, the support—it’s truly overwhelming and deeply heartwarming.

But we’re not stopping here.
We’re extending our goal to 1,000 jars of soup by the end of this month, because there are still so many hungry mouths to feed—and not nearly enough to give.

Every time we go out to hand out jars, we are met with children running behind the car, desperate for something warm to eat. And far too often, we run out before every little hand is reached. It’s heartbreaking. 💔

We wish we could give to every single one of them—but sometimes, there simply isn’t enough.

That’s why this mission matters.
With your continued support, we believe we can reach them.

With our Soup Jar Challenge halfway through the month, we stand in awe!
Thanks to your incredible support, over 1,500 hungry tummies have already been fed.

But we’re not done yet.
Help us help them.
It’s still bitterly cold and wet, and many still go without.

We still need rice , soup mix , lentils , soup powder, stock cubes . Any contribution helps never to small to make a difference!!!
