There are still 10 spots available for the wine tour. R100 for members, R150 for non-members this means any friend or partner which is not in iKhaya or at UCT.
This includes - Accomodation, Transport there and back, and the Wine tasting.

Hi Everyone, Just a reminder that sign-ups for wine tour open TODAY under the 'Section Info' tab on the iKhaya Vula page at 3PM. The Sign ups tab will remain open until Friday, 24 August 2018, 5pm - at which point we will close it and open spots up to Non-members IF THERE ARE SPOTS AVAILABLE.

For those of you who aren’t on our mail list, or don’t check emails. The 2018 Wine tour is near! It will be taking place at Louisvale Wines Stellenbosch

Here are some of the details:

On Saturday, 8 September 2018, a bus will Pick us up at Tugwell at 8am.
We will make our way to Louisvale Wine Estate

We're gonna spend they day there with some wine and breathtaking views...

We then make our way back to the bus and take a trip to ikhaya backpackers where we can chill for a bit with some music and great company.

For those of us who want to, we'll make our way to some of the Clubs in Stellies and party the night away... This is not compulsory (obviously), those who aren't into the clubbing scene, feel free to stay in and keep the party going at the back packers..

A bus will then pick us up around 10am from the backpackers and we will make our way back to Tugwell, where u will need to be fetched or find alternate transportation home 🙂

Sound exciting? DEFINITELY!

So how do you get your hands on a ticket for this amazing experience?

Ticket prices are as follows:

Members: R100

Non-members: R150

Tickets will be on sale on Monday (times TBA) from a Comm member in iKhaya day-house, so you have time to get your finances in order.

*this ticket will get you transportation on the bus to the winery and the backpacker, as well as back home on Sunday, 9 September 2018. it will also get you a 1 night stay at ikhaya backpackers in Stellies with the rest of our ikhaya family, as well as a delicious wine tasting from louisvale wine estate.
