🏖️🚌 3 Days of Coastal Joy in Mossel Bay! 🚌🏖️ We had the incredible privilege of taking 10 of our senior community members on a 3-day excursion to Mossel Bay, and what a beautiful journey it was!

From beach strolls and coastal walks to spotting wildlife and simply soaking up the ocean breeze, this trip was filled with laughter, connection, and unforgettable moments. 🌊🐚🦢

For many of our seniors, this was their first time experiencing the Garden Route’s beauty—and the joy it brought was priceless. Thank you to everyone who helped make this special outing possible.

🚂⚓ All Aboard for Adventure! ⚓🚂 We recently took a group of children on their very first train ride—an unforgettable journey that brought wide eyes and even wider smiles! But the excitement didn’t stop there… 🎉

Their next stop? A magical ride on the Jolly Roger Pirate Boat at the V&A Waterfront! 🏴‍☠️⚓ For many of these kids, it was their first time seeing the ocean up close, let alone sailing on it dressed as little pirates!

🌊🧼 Beach, Community & Caring Hands 🧼🌊 What an incredible day! We joined forces with The Women’s Communicare Network for a fun and impactful Beach Cleanup Day, where volunteer children rolled up their sleeves to help clean our coastline. 🧹🌍

Not only did they collect litter and learn about protecting our environment, but they also experienced teamwork, pride, and the joy of giving back to their community. 💛

We had a hoppy good time at our Easter Egg Hunt at the Care With Compassion Thrift Store! Kids from the community joined us for a day filled with colorful face painting, laughter, and sweet surprises hidden all around. 🌷🍬

While the little ones hunted for eggs, shoppers enjoyed our special Easter clothing deals—affordable fashion with purpose! 🛍️👚 Every item sold helps fund our work with communities and seniors.

🧸👶 Spreading Smiles at the Crèche 👶🧸 We had a heartwarming day visiting a joyful crèche, where we donated clothing and toys to the little ones in need. Seeing their faces light up with joy as they hugged their new teddy bears or slipped into warm jackets reminded us why we do what we do. 💛

We recently hosted an important Elderly Persons Abuse Workshop in partnership with the Department of Social Development to educate our senior community about their rights and where to turn for help in cases of verbal, physical, or financial abuse.

It was an eye-opening and empowering session, giving our elders the tools and confidence to speak up and stay safe. 💛

We hosted a cozy movie screening for our elderly community at our base in the Shawco Building, complete with drinks, good company, and plenty of smiles. 💛

To make the day even more special, we handed out blankets to help keep everyone warm this winter. Watching them wrap up and relax reminded us how powerful small acts of care can be.
