** A personal message from our BOH Founder, Crystal August-Reynecke ❤️

Birthday of Hope turns 13 this year 🥳 and for the first time since 2012, I won’t be running a traditional campaign or handover.

Life is evolving, and I'm holding space for rest, reflection, and new rhythms. But hope. . . hope is still very much alive!

So this year, I’m inviting you to Carry the Hope with me.

💛 On or around 27 June, do something kind. Something generous. Something that makes someone feel seen.

It can be big or small, just let it come from the heart.

Hope doesn’t stand still. It moves through us. Let’s spread hope, the way it was always meant to move. . .person to person, heart to heart **

IT’S OUR BIRTHDAY! 🥳

For 12 years, we’ve been championing human rights and everyday activism across Africa.

As we celebrate this milestone, we know the fight for justice is far from over. That’s why we’ve launched a special birthday fundraiser to support our Youth Ambassadors Conference, where young leaders will receive hands-on advocacy and leadership training to create real change in their communities.
